Setup Instructions

The conversion process typically takes 20-30 minutes. You will utilize the headboard and footboard from your existing DaVinci crib.

1. Disassemble Crib: Carefully remove the side rails from your DaVinci convertible crib, retaining the headboard and footboard. Refer to your original crib's instruction manual for specific disassembly steps.
2. Identify Components: Lay out the two wooden bed rails from the conversion kit and the provided hardware.
3. Attach Bed Rails: Align the attachment points on the new bed rails with the corresponding holes on the crib's headboard and footboard. Secure them using the provided hardware (bolts, washers, nuts). Ensure all connections are snug but do not overtighten.
4. Install Slats (Sold Separately): If converting to a twin or full-size bed, install appropriate bed slats (not included with this kit) to support the mattress. Ensure the slats are evenly spaced and securely fastened to the bed rails.
5. Place Mattress: Once the frame is stable and slats are installed, place the mattress onto the bed frame.
6. Final Check: Gently shake the assembled bed to ensure stability. Verify all hardware is tight and there are no loose components.

Usage Guidelines

Once assembled, the conversion kit allows your DaVinci crib's headboard and footboard to function as a sturdy bed frame for a twin or full-size mattress.
