Installation Overview

The CAMECHO Android 13 Car Stereo is designed for direct fitment in BMW X1 models (2010-2016). The included Canbus box ensures compatibility with your vehicle's original steering wheel controls and other factory features.

Backup Camera Wiring

The included AHD backup camera requires proper wiring for functionality. Connect the red cable to the positive pole of the car's reversing light and the black cable to the negative pole (ground). The two other red extension cables are typically not needed for standard installation.

Operating Instructions

Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

The unit supports wireless CarPlay for iOS devices (iOS 15.3 and below) and wireless Android Auto for Android devices (Android 12 and below). Connect your smartphone via Wi-Fi to access navigation, calls, messages, and music directly on the car stereo screen. Voice control features like Siri and Google Assistant are supported.

Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

Cleaning the Screen
