Installation Overview
The CAMECHO Android 13 Car Stereo is designed for direct fitment in BMW X1 models (2010-2016). The included Canbus box ensures compatibility with your vehicle's original steering wheel controls and other factory features.

Backup Camera Wiring
The included AHD backup camera requires proper wiring for functionality. Connect the red cable to the positive pole of the car's reversing light and the black cable to the negative pole (ground). The two other red extension cables are typically not needed for standard installation.

Operating Instructions
Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
The unit supports wireless CarPlay for iOS devices (iOS 15.3 and below) and wireless Android Auto for Android devices (Android 12 and below). Connect your smartphone via Wi-Fi to access navigation, calls, messages, and music directly on the car stereo screen. Voice control features like Siri and Google Assistant are supported.

GPS Navigation
The car stereo features a built-in positioning chip supporting GPS/QZSS/SBAS. It comes with pre-installed GPS navigation and allows for downloading offline maps or using online maps after connecting to Wi-Fi. Various navigation applications are supported.

FM/RDS Radio

Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

Maintenance
Cleaning the Screen
To clean the touchscreen, power off the unit and gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Issue: Backup camera not working.
Solution: Check all wiring connections for the backup camera, ensuring they are secure and correctly connected to the reversing light and the head unit. Verify the camera itself is not damaged. Ensure the reversing input cable is plugged into the head unit, even if the camera is not used. - Issue: Poor Bluetooth connectivity or disturbed phone calls.
Solution: Ensure your phone is within range and Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device. Check for any obstructions or interference. Update the car stereo's firmware if available. - Issue: Unit does not power on.
Solution: Check the power cable connections and ensure the vehicle's ignition is on. Verify the fuse in the power cable is intact. - Issue: No sound.
Solution: Check volume settings on the unit and your connected device. Ensure all speaker wires are correctly connected. Verify the amplifier (if external) is powered on. - Issue: GPS signal lost or inaccurate.
