Setup & Installation
This section provides general guidance for installation. For detailed steps, refer to the included installation manual. Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with electrical wiring.
1. Pre-Installation Checks
- Power Off: Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Mounting Location: Select a suitable location that can support the fan's weight and allows for proper air circulation. This fan is suitable for low ceilings and can be installed on sloped ceilings.
- Tools Required: Gather necessary tools such as a screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, and a ladder.
2. Assembly
The fan requires some assembly. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate installation guide included in your package. This typically involves attaching the fan blades and cage components to the motor housing.

3. Wiring and Mounting
- Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box. Ensure it is firmly attached and can support the fan.
- Electrical Connections: Connect the fan's wiring to your household electrical system according to the wiring diagram in the installation manual. Typically, this involves connecting live, neutral, and ground wires.
- Secure Fan: Carefully lift and attach the fan assembly to the mounting bracket. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Install Bulbs: Insert four E12 base bulbs (not included) into the sockets. For dimming functionality, use compatible dimmable E12 bulbs and a dimmer switch (circuit modification may be required).

Operating Instructions
Your Linher ceiling fan is operated using the included remote control. Ensure 2 AAA batteries are installed in the remote.
Remote Control Functions
- Fan On/Off: Press the fan button to turn the fan on or off.
- Speed Control (1-6): Adjust the fan speed from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest) to customize airflow.
- Natural Wind Mode: Activates a mode that cycles randomly through different speeds to simulate a natural breeze.
- Forward & Reverse Rotation:
- Summer Mode (Downdraft): Fan blades rotate counter-clockwise to create a cooling downdraft.
- Winter Mode (Updraft): Fan blades rotate clockwise to circulate warm air near the ceiling.
- Light On/Off: Press the light button to turn the light on or off.
- Dimming (if applicable): If using dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, the light intensity can be adjusted. The remote primarily controls light switching.
- Timer (1H/2H): Set the fan to automatically turn off after 1 or 2 hours.
- Buzzer Switch (Mute): Press this button to mute the remote's beeping sound for quieter operation.
