4. Assembly Instructions

The VEVOR Tabletop Gas Grill is designed for quick and easy assembly. Follow these steps to set up your grill:

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. Ensure all listed components in Section 3 are present.
  2. Attach the Grill Legs: The grill comes with foldable legs. Extend the four legs from the bottom of the grill until they lock securely into place. Ensure the grill is stable on a flat, non-combustible surface.
  3. Place Heat Plates: Position the two heat plates directly over the burners inside the grill body. These plates help distribute heat evenly and protect the burners from dripping grease.
  4. Install Cooking Grates: Place the two cooking grates on top of the heat plates. Ensure they sit firmly and are level.
  5. Connect Gas Regulator and Hose: Attach the gas regulator to the universal gas hose. Then, connect the hose to the gas inlet on the side of the grill. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened.

5. Setup and Fuel Connection

Your VEVOR grill is compatible with both standard propane tanks and smaller 1lb propane cylinders.

5.1 Connecting to a Propane Source

  1. Ensure all burner control knobs are in the 'OFF' position.
  2. Connect the universal gas hose (with regulator) to your propane tank (20lb) or 1lb propane cylinder. Hand-tighten firmly.
  3. Open the valve on the propane tank/cylinder slowly to allow gas flow.
  4. Perform a leak test (see Section 5.2).

5.2 Leak Test Procedure

Always perform a leak test before initial use and after any gas cylinder change or connection adjustment.

  • Mix a solution of equal parts liquid dish soap and water.
  • Ensure all burner control knobs are 'OFF'.
  • Turn on the gas supply at the propane tank/cylinder.
  • Apply the soapy solution to all gas connections (regulator to hose, hose to grill inlet).
  • If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Immediately turn off the gas supply and tighten the connection. Repeat the test. If bubbles still appear, do not use the grill and contact customer service.

  • Empty Grease Tray: The removable oil tray (grease tray) should be emptied and cleaned after each use to prevent grease buildup and potential flare-ups.
  • Wipe Exterior: Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly to prevent water spots.

7.2 Periodic Maintenance

  • Inspect Burners: Periodically check the burner ports for any blockages (e.g., spider webs, food debris). Use a wire brush or paperclip to clear any obstructions.
  • Check Gas Hose: Inspect the gas hose for kinks, cuts, or abrasions. Replace if any damage is found.
  • Storage: When not in use, especially for extended periods, store the grill in a dry, protected area. The secure lid lock and compact design make it easy to store.
