This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your VEVOR 0.6 Cubic Feet Drop Safe, Model TD-SS25. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper functionality and security. Keep this manual for future reference.
2. Safety Instructions
- Do not store the emergency keys inside the safe. Keep them in a secure, separate location.
- Ensure the safe is installed on a stable surface or securely mounted to prevent unauthorized removal.
- Avoid exposing the safe to extreme temperatures or high humidity.
- Do not attempt to force the safe open if the electronic lock malfunctions. Use the emergency key.
- Regularly check battery levels to ensure continuous operation of the electronic lock.
3. Package Contents

4. Product Features

5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Battery Installation
- Open the safe door using the emergency key (refer to Section 6.2 if needed).
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
- Insert the required batteries (typically 4 AA batteries, not included) according to the polarity markings.
- Close the battery compartment.
5.2 Mounting the Safe
The safe is designed for secure mounting to a solid wall or floor to prevent unauthorized removal. Note: The manufacturer specifies this model is designed for floor use only, and wall mounting is not supported despite pre-drilled holes. Please adhere to the floor mounting instructions.
- Choose a suitable location for the safe, ensuring it is on a flat, stable surface.
- Mark the positions for drilling using the pre-drilled holes on the back of the safe as a template.
- Drill holes into the floor at the marked positions.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes.
- Insert the expansion bolts through the safe's holes and into the drilled holes in the floor.
- Tighten the screws from inside the safe until it is securely fastened.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Initial Opening and Setting the PIN
Upon first use, the safe can be opened with the emergency key. It is recommended to set a personal PIN immediately.
- Open the safe door using the emergency key.
- Locate the red reset button on the inside of the door, near the battery compartment.
- Press the reset button. The indicator light on the keypad should illuminate.
- Enter your desired 1-8 digit PIN code on the keypad.
- Press the '#' or 'E' button to confirm. The indicator light should flash green, confirming the new PIN is set.
6.2 Opening with PIN Code
- Enter your 1-8 digit PIN code on the keypad.
- Press the '#' or 'E' button. The indicator light will turn green.
- Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
6.3 Opening with Emergency Key
Use the emergency key if you forget your PIN, the batteries are depleted, or the electronic lock malfunctions.
- Locate the keyhole cover on the keypad panel.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise.
- Simultaneously turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
6.4 Emergency Power Supply
If the batteries are completely dead and you do not have the emergency key readily available, an external power source can be used.
- Connect a compatible external power supply (e.g., a 9V battery) to the emergency power port on the keypad.
- While connected, enter your PIN code and turn the knob as described in Section 6.2.
6.5 Drop Slot Usage
The front drop slot allows for depositing items without opening the main safe door.
- Ensure the safe door is securely locked.
- Insert cash, envelopes, or small documents into the front slot.
- The items will fall into the main compartment of the safe.

7. Security Alarm System
The safe is equipped with a tamper alert system to deter unauthorized access.
- If three incorrect PIN codes are entered consecutively, the alarm will activate.
- The alarm will sound continuously for a set period (e.g., 60 seconds) or until a correct PIN is entered or the emergency key is used.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator light appears. Always use new, high-quality batteries.
- Key Storage: Ensure emergency keys are stored in a safe, accessible location away from the safe itself.
9. Troubleshooting
