4. Setup and Connections
Before operating the SK150C module, ensure all connections are secure and correct. The module requires a DC input voltage between 7V and 36V. Output connections should be made to your load.

Figure 2: Internal view of the SK150C module, highlighting the plug-in terminals for power input/output and serial communication pins (+5V, TX, RX, GND) for advanced control.
4.1 Power Connections
- Connect your DC power source (7-36V) to the input terminals. Observe polarity: positive (+) and negative (-).
- Connect your load to the output terminals. Again, observe polarity.
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent arcing or poor performance.
4.2 Optional Communication Module Connection
For app control or PC communication, an optional Bluetooth or USB module is required (sold separately). Connect this module to the serial communication pins (+5V, TX, RX, GND) as indicated in Figure 2. Refer to the specific module's instructions for detailed setup of the communication interface.
5. Operating Instructions
The SK150C module features an intuitive interface with a color display, silicone buttons, and a rotary encoder for easy operation.

Figure 3: Detailed view of the SK150C control panel, showing the function of each button and the rotary encoder.
5.1 Control Panel Overview

- M/t Button: Short press to access data group settings.
- V-SET Button: Short press for voltage setting. Long press for OVP (Overvoltage Protection) setting.
- I-SET Button: Short press for current setting. Long press for OCP (Overcurrent Protection) setting.
- OK/↓ Button: Short press to confirm settings.
- Rotary Encoder:
- Rotate left: Switch interface display; decrease number when setting.
- Rotate right: Switch interface display; increase number when setting.
- Short press: Turn on/off output.
- Long press: Sleep shutdown.
- Unlock/Lock Function: The small lock icon on the display indicates if the controls are locked. Use the rotary encoder's short press to toggle output, and long press for sleep shutdown. The specific unlock/lock button is not explicitly labeled but is typically integrated with the rotary encoder or a combination of buttons.
5.2 Setting Voltage and Current
- Press the V-SET button to enter voltage setting mode. The voltage value on the screen will blink.
- Rotate the encoder to adjust the desired output voltage.
- Press the OK/↓ button to confirm the voltage setting.
- Repeat steps 1-3 for current setting using the I-SET button.
5.3 Setting Protection Parameters (OVP, OCP)
- Long press the V-SET button to enter OVP (Overvoltage Protection) setting mode. Adjust with the encoder and confirm with OK/↓.
- Long press the I-SET button to enter OCP (Overcurrent Protection) setting mode. Adjust with the encoder and confirm with OK/↓.

5.5 Calibration Steps
For accurate readings, the module may require calibration. Follow these steps carefully:

Figure 4: Screenshot of the calibration steps for voltage and current, as displayed on the module's screen.
Voltage Calibration:
- Use a multimeter to measure the actual voltage at the output terminal (no load).
- Short press OK/↓ to display "voltage2".
- Use a multimeter to measure the current actual voltage and input at the output end again.
- Short press OK/↓ to complete.
- If calibration is successful, it will display "calibration success". If it fails, "calibration fails" will be displayed. Try to calibrate again if it fails.
Current Calibration:
- Use a multimeter or a digital load to measure the current. Short-circuit the output terminals to measure the current and enter the current value.
- Short press OK/↓ to display "current2".
- Use a multimeter to measure the current at the output end again and input.
- Short press OK/↓ to finish the calibration.
- If calibration is successful, it will display "calibration success". If it fails, "calibration fails" will be displayed. Try to calibrate again if it fails.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SK150C module, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the module's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no dust or debris accumulates in the ventilation openings.
- Environment: Operate and store the module in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, humidity, and corrosive gases. The module has an IP20 rating, meaning it is not waterproof.
- Connections: Periodically check all input and output connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
- Storage: If storing the module for an extended period, disconnect it from all power sources and store it in its original packaging or a protective container.
