Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Unpacking and Placement: Carefully unpack the ice maker. Place it upright in its intended location. Allow the unit to stand upright for 24 hours before connecting to power or water. This allows refrigerants to settle.
  2. Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker and the ice storage bin according to the cleaning instructions in Section 6.
  3. Water Filter Installation: Connect the provided water filter to the water inlet line. This filter helps remove impurities and extends the machine's service life.
  4. Water Inlet Connection: Connect the 8.2ft inlet pipe to a potable water supply and to the ice maker's water inlet port. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
  5. Water Outlet Connection: Connect the 6.5ft outlet pipe to the ice maker's water outlet port and route it to a suitable drain.
  6. Ice Bucket Drain Pipe: Connect the 5ft ice bucket drain pipe to the ice storage bin's drain and route it to the same drain as the water outlet.
  7. Leveling: Adjust the height-adjustable support feet to ensure the machine is perfectly level. This is crucial for proper drainage and ice production.
  8. Power Connection: Once all water connections are secure and checked for leaks, plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
