6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your dehumidifier, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on. | No power supply. | Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into the unit and a working electrical outlet. Check the circuit breaker. |
| Unit is running but not collecting water. | Room humidity is too low. | The unit may not collect water if the humidity level is already below the target range (e.g., 45-55%). |
| Ambient temperature is too low. | Thermoelectric dehumidifiers are less effective in very cold environments. Ensure the room temperature is above 41°F (5°C). | |
| Air vents are blocked. | Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the unit and clean any dust from the vents. | |
| Unit stops operating unexpectedly. | Water tank is full. | Empty the water tank and reinsert it properly. |
| Timer function is active. | Check if a timer was set. The unit will turn off after the set duration. | |
| Silica gel module not drying. | Module not properly inserted or 'Dry' button not pressed. | Ensure the module is correctly seated in the main unit and the 'Dry' button has been activated. |
If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact customer support.
