3. Setup and Installation

This bidet toilet seat is designed for easy DIY installation. Ensure you have a standard electrical outlet (GFCI protected) and access to your toilet's water supply line.

3.1 Compatibility Check

This model is designed for elongated toilets. Please measure your toilet bowl to ensure compatibility. The distance from the toilet seat mounting holes to the front edge of the bowl should be approximately 18" - 19.5".

3.2 Installation Steps

1. Remove Current Toilet Seat: Lift the hinge covers and unscrew the bolts holding your existing toilet seat in place. Remove the seat and lid.
2. Install Mounting Plate: Place the mounting plate over the toilet bowl holes. Insert the screws through the steel discs and anchoring rubber, then tighten them to secure the mounting plate.
3. Slide Bidet Seat: Carefully slide the bidet toilet seat onto the mounting plate until it clicks into place. A quick-release button allows for easy removal if needed.
4. Connect T-Valve: Turn off the water supply to your toilet. Flush the toilet to drain the tank. Disconnect the existing water supply hose from the toilet tank's fill valve. Install the provided T-valve onto the fill valve.
5. Connect Hoses: Connect the original water supply hose to the bottom of the T-valve. Connect one end of the provided PE pipe (bidet hose) to the side of the T-valve and the other end to the water inlet on the bidet seat.
6. Restore Water and Power: Slowly turn on the water supply. Check for leaks. Plug the bidet seat's power cord into a GFCI-protected electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The mijashy Electric Bidet Toilet Seat offers various functions controlled by the wireless remote. Ensure the remote has fresh batteries and is within range of the bidet seat.

4.2 Basic Functions

• Rear Wash: Activates the posterior wash function.
• Bidet Wash (Front Wash): Activates the feminine wash function.
• Stop: Stops any active wash or drying cycle.
• Drying: Activates the warm air dryer.
• Power: Turns the unit on or off.

4.3 Adjustable Settings

• Water Temperature: Use the 'Water Temp' button to cycle through adjustable warm water temperature settings (e.g., Room Temperature, 93°F, 98°F, 104°F).
• Seat Temperature: Use the 'Seat Temp' button to adjust the heated seat temperature through multiple levels.
• Drying Temperature: Use the 'Drying Temp' button to adjust the warm air dryer temperature through multiple levels.
• Water Pressure (Strength+/-): Use 'Strength+' and 'Strength-' buttons to increase or decrease water pressure during a wash cycle.
• Nozzle Position (Forward/Backward): Adjust the nozzle position for optimal cleaning using the 'Forward' and 'Backward' buttons during a wash cycle.

4.4 Advanced Features

• Multiple Wash Modes: In addition to standard front and rear wash, the bidet offers Strong Wash, Pulsating Wash, Soft Wash, and Oscillating Wash for a comprehensive cleaning experience.
• Auto Mode: Initiates a pre-programmed wash and dry cycle.
• Kids Mode: Provides a gentler wash and lower pressure suitable for children.
• LED Nightlight: The built-in nightlight provides illumination for nighttime use. Activate or deactivate using the 'Lighting' button.

5.1 Nozzle Cleaning

The bidet features a self-cleaning nozzle function. Before and after each use, the nozzle automatically rinses itself with water. For a more thorough cleaning, activate the 'Self-Cleaning Nozzle' function on the remote control.

5.2 General Cleaning

• Disconnect Power: Always unplug the bidet seat from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
• Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
• Seat and Lid: Clean the seat and lid with a soft cloth and mild soap. The soft-close lid can be gently lifted for cleaning underneath.
• Nozzle Tip: If necessary, gently clean the nozzle tip with a soft brush (like a toothbrush) and mild soap. Do not force or bend the nozzle.
• Filter: Periodically check the water inlet filter for debris. If clogged, turn off the water supply, disconnect the hose, clean the filter, and reassemble.
