3.2. Wearing the Hearing Aids

Proper placement is crucial for comfort and sound quality. The devices are marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right.

  1. Select the appropriate eartip size and style for your ear canal. The package includes 12 eartips to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.
  2. Gently insert the designated hearing aid into your ear canal. The pull line should face downwards.
  3. Ensure the eartip fits comfortably and securely in your ear canal without causing pain or discomfort. A proper fit prevents feedback (beeping sounds).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

The hearing aids feature an automatic power-on/off function. They will automatically turn on when removed from the charging case and turn off when placed back in. There is an 8-second intelligent start-up delay to prevent sudden loud noises upon insertion.

For manual control, press and hold the tactile button on the hearing aid for 2 seconds to power on or off.

4.2. Volume Adjustment

The device has a single tactile button for volume control. Each short press of the button adjusts the volume in a cycle through 5 precise levels. You will hear a single 'beep' sound with each adjustment. Once the highest volume is reached, you will hear a continuous 'beep' sound.

Video 4.1: How to Adjust the Volume. This video illustrates how to use the single button on the hearing aid to cycle through the five available volume levels.

4.3. Mode Switching

The hearing aids offer two listening modes to adapt to different environments:

  • Quiet Mode: Ideal for daily use in calm environments.
  • Noise Reduction Mode: Suitable for noisy environments like parties or restaurants, enhancing speech clarity by reducing background noise.

To switch between modes, quickly press the tactile button twice. Each time the program is switched, you will hear different prompt sounds to indicate the current program. A single 'beep' represents Quiet Mode, and two 'beeps' ('beep beep') represent Noise Reduction Mode.

Video 4.2: How to Switch Modes. This video demonstrates how to toggle between the Quiet Mode and Noise Reduction Mode using the hearing aid's button.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Beeping Sound: If you hear a long beeping sound while wearing the hearing aid, it may indicate that they are not fitted correctly. Try changing the eartips to find one that fits your ear canal best, and then refit them.
  • Unclear or Distant Sounds: These hearing aids are designed for mild to moderate hearing needs. If sounds consistently feel unclear or distant, consulting a hearing specialist is recommended to optimize your hearing experience.
