Installation Instructions

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Prepare the Vehicle: Open the driver's side door. Using the included trim removal tool, carefully release the clips and remove the instrument panel trim located near the headlight switch.
2. Remove Headlight Switch: Reach behind the dash to locate the headlight switch. There is a small button or tab on the side of the headlight switch assembly. Press this button/tab and gently pull the shaft to release the entire headlight switch unit. The switch will come out as one unit.
3. Disconnect Auto Start-Stop Connector: Once the headlight switch is removed, reach in from underneath the dash to locate the auto start-stop switch connector. Unplug this connector from the switch. Note: Some users have found that the locking tab on the plug may be protected, requiring the switch to be fully removed before the plug can be easily disconnected.
4. Install Eliminator Device: Insert the Auto Start Stop Eliminator device between the disconnected auto start-stop switch connector and the headlight switch. Ensure both connections are secure.
5. Reassemble: Carefully reinsert the headlight switch unit back into its position until it clicks into place. Reattach the instrument panel trim, ensuring all clips are secure.

Operating Instructions

After successful installation, the Mingrui test Auto Start Stop Eliminator will automatically remember the last setting of your vehicle's start-stop system (ON or OFF). When you start your F-150, the device will restore this setting, effectively keeping the auto start/stop function disabled if it was off previously.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Functioning After Installation
