Setup

1. Physical Installation

The camera and solar panel can be mounted using the provided strap or mounting brackets. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum sunlight.

2. SIM Card & SD Card Installation

The 4G SIM card is built-in and non-detachable. Insert a Micro SD card (Class 10 or higher, up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot for local storage. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting/removing the SD card.

3. App Installation & Pairing

Download the free Ucon App from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the device and ensuring the camera's blue LED lights up after about 1 minute, indicating network connection.

Operating

1. Live View & Remote Access

Once paired, use the Ucon App to access a live 2K video feed from your camera anytime, anywhere. You can view what the camera captures in real-time, such as wild animals, and share these moments with others.

2. Activity Detection & Notifications

The camera's PIR sensor detects motion and triggers within 0.2 seconds. Real-time alerts are sent to your smartphone when activity is detected within an 82-foot range.

3. Recording & Storage

The camera continuously records onto the memory card (local storage). You can also opt for cloud storage, with a 30-day free trial available for new users. Recorded videos and images can be viewed directly from the app or by removing the memory card and accessing files on a computer.

Maintenance

1. Power Management

The integrated 4W solar panel and 7800mAh rechargeable battery form a dual power supply system. Ensure the solar panel is clean and unobstructed to maximize charging efficiency. The camera can operate continuously with adequate sunlight.

2. Weather Durability

With an IP66 waterproof rating, the camera is designed to withstand various weather conditions, including rain, dust, and extreme temperatures. Regular checks for debris on the lens or solar panel are recommended.
