5. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Power the Main Unit: Connect the provided DC adapter to the main weather station unit and plug it into a power outlet. The display will illuminate.
  2. Install Sensor Batteries: Open the battery compartment of the wireless outdoor sensor and insert 2 x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. The sensor will automatically link with the main unit.
  3. Set Local Time: Press and hold the 'SET' button on the main unit for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the time and 'SET' to confirm each setting (hour, minute, year, month, day).

6.3 Backlight Settings

The main unit features 5 backlight modes (100%, 70%, 50%, 30%, OFF) when powered by the DC adapter. In battery mode, the backlight supports 100% brightness for 15 seconds before turning off to conserve power.
