2. Safety Information

3. Setup and Assembly

The AIRHOT electric wheelchair is designed for quick and easy setup. It arrives largely pre-assembled and can be unfolded in seconds.

3.1 Unfolding the Wheelchair

  1. Place the folded wheelchair on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Gently pull the backrest upwards until the frame locks into place.
  3. Lower the seat and ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged.
  4. Adjust the armrests and footrests to your preferred position.

3.2 Folding the Wheelchair

The wheelchair folds in 3 simple steps for compact storage and transport:

  1. Step 1: Press the inward release mechanism, typically located near the seat.
  2. Step 2: Tuck the seat and backrest towards the center.
  3. Step 3: Complete the fold by bringing the sides together until it is compact.

4. Operating Instructions

The AIRHOT electric wheelchair features an intuitive 360° joystick control for easy maneuverability.

4.1 Joystick Control

The joystick can be installed on either the left or right armrest to suit user preference. It provides precise control over speed and direction.

  • Power Button: Turns the wheelchair on/off.
  • Speed Adjustment: Use '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease speed.
  • Horn: Activates the horn for alerting others.
  • Joystick Movement: Push forward to move forward, pull back to move backward, push left to turn left, and push right to turn right.
  • Braking: Releasing the joystick will automatically engage the electromagnetic brakes, bringing the wheelchair to a smooth stop.

4.2 Battery and Charging

The upgraded lithium battery provides over 15 miles of travel on a single charge. It can be charged while installed on the wheelchair or detached for convenient off-board charging.
