Important Safety Information

Read all instructions before installing or using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, property damage, or personal injury. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains, at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • This 240V heater must be grounded and hardwired to a properly sized current protection circuit breaker that meets the U.S. National Electrical Code and local codes. Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.

Installation Guide

This heater requires hardwired installation by a qualified electrician. Ensure all local and national electrical codes are followed. The heater must be grounded.

Installation Steps:

  1. Connecting the Wire:
    • Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
    • Remove screws from the bottom panel to access wiring.
    • Choose a side and open the cutout for wiring entry.
    • Use the provided copper tips for better conductivity (included for 7500W/10000W models).
    • Connect wires to the power block as instructed. Hard wire accessories are not included.
    • Tighten wires to the terminal.
    • Close the bottom panel and tighten the screws.

  2. Locating the Heater:

    Ensure minimum distances are maintained from walls and ceiling for proper airflow and safety. Minimum distance from side walls: 13 inches. Minimum distance from ceiling: 8 inches.

  3. Mounting the Bracket:
    • Drill two pilot holes in the ceiling or wall where the heater will be mounted.
    • Place washers on the screws.
    • Screw the mounting bracket securely into the ceiling or wall.
  4. Hanging the Heater:
    • Align the lower bracket holes with the corresponding points on the heater.
    • Align the upper bracket holes.
    • Use the keyhole slots for adjusting angles.
  5. Adjust Louvers:

    Adjust the louvers to direct warmth to the desired area.

Operating Instructions

The heater can be controlled via the integrated LED touch screen or the multi-function remote control.

  • Power ON/OFF: Press the power button to turn the heater on or off.
  • Mode Selection: Cycle through High (7500W), Low (6250W), and Fan Only modes.
  • Temperature Adjustment (Temp+/Temp-): Set the desired temperature between 45°F and 95°F. The built-in thermostat will maintain this temperature.
  • °F/°C Conversion: Switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature display.
  • Timer Setting: Program the heater to operate for 1 to 12 hours.
  • ECO Mode: Activate ECO mode for energy-efficient operation. The heater automatically adjusts power based on the ambient temperature to save energy.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no water enters the interior of the heater.
  • Dust Removal: Periodically use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the grilles and internal components.
  • Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
