1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

• Ensure all components are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.

4. Assembly Instructions

Please follow these steps carefully for proper assembly:

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the 5-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift Cylinder: Place the larger end of the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled 5-star base.
3. Attach Seat Plate to Seat Cushion: Align the seat plate mechanism (pre-attached to the seat cushion) with the mounting holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure with the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure the front of the seat plate faces the front of the seat cushion.
4. Attach Armrests: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly (left and right).
5. Attach Backrest: Connect the backrest to the seat assembly using the designated screws.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Base: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the cylinder's top fits securely into the center hole of the seat plate mechanism.

5. Operating Instructions

Your L.a.Z.-Boy Air Lumbar Manager Office Chair features several adjustable components designed for personalized comfort and support.

5.1. Pneumatic Height Adjustment

To adjust the chair's height, locate the lever on the right side, beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the chair. To raise the chair, stand up and pull the lever up. Release the lever at your desired height. The chair offers approximately 3.75 inches of height adjustment range.

5.2. InfinityLock Seat Plate (Recline and Tilt)

The InfinityLock seat plate allows you to secure your recline angle at an infinite number of positions. To recline, pull the lever on the left side, beneath the seat, and lean back. Release the lever to lock the recline position. To adjust the tilt tension, rotate the round knob located at the front, beneath the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

5.3. Padded Flip-Up Armrests

The armrests are designed to flip up and away when not in use, providing flexibility and space. Simply lift the armrests upwards until they lock into the vertical position. To return them to the down position, gently pull them down. These armrests provide ergonomic support for your arms and wrists.
