3. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Wash the removable stoneware bowl and glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The stoneware bowl and glass lid are dishwasher-safe.
  3. Wipe Base: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
  4. Placement: Place the base unit on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances.
  5. Insert Stoneware: Place the clean stoneware bowl into the base unit.

4. Operating Instructions

Your slow cooker features a simple manual control dial with three settings: HIGH, LOW, and WARM.

  1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the stoneware bowl.
  2. Cover: Place the glass lid securely on the stoneware bowl.
  3. Plug In: Plug the slow cooker into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Select Setting: Turn the control dial to your desired cooking setting:
    • HIGH: For faster cooking. Typically 2-4 hours.
    • LOW: For slower cooking. Typically 4-8 hours.
    • WARM: This setting keeps food at an ideal serving temperature after cooking is complete. It is not intended for cooking.

5. Cooking Tips

  • For best results, fill the stoneware bowl between half and three-quarters full.
  • Root vegetables (potatoes, carrots) cook slower than meat. Place them at the bottom of the stoneware bowl.
  • Dairy products should be added during the last 30 minutes of cooking to prevent curdling.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your slow cooker.

7. Troubleshooting
