- Do not use the slow cooker for purposes other than intended use.
2. Product Components

3. Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Wash the removable stoneware bowl and glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The stoneware bowl and glass lid are dishwasher-safe.
- Wipe Base: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Placement: Place the base unit on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances.
- Insert Stoneware: Place the clean stoneware bowl into the base unit.
4. Operating Instructions
Your slow cooker features a simple manual control dial with three settings: HIGH, LOW, and WARM.

- Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the stoneware bowl.
- Cover: Place the glass lid securely on the stoneware bowl.
- Plug In: Plug the slow cooker into a standard electrical outlet.
- Select Setting: Turn the control dial to your desired cooking setting:
- HIGH: For faster cooking. Typically 2-4 hours.
- LOW: For slower cooking. Typically 4-8 hours.
- WARM: This setting keeps food at an ideal serving temperature after cooking is complete. It is not intended for cooking.
- Cook: Allow the food to cook for the recommended time. Avoid lifting the lid frequently, as this releases heat and extends cooking time.
- Serve: Once cooking is complete, turn the dial to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit. Carefully remove the lid and serve.

5. Cooking Tips
- For best results, fill the stoneware bowl between half and three-quarters full.
- Root vegetables (potatoes, carrots) cook slower than meat. Place them at the bottom of the stoneware bowl.
- Dairy products should be added during the last 30 minutes of cooking to prevent curdling.
- The stoneware bowl is oven-safe up to 400°F (204°C), allowing for crisping or finishing dishes before serving.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your slow cooker.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: The removable stoneware bowl and glass lid are dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
- Hand Washing: If hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners that may scratch surfaces.
- Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are dry before storing. Store the slow cooker with the lid inverted on the stoneware bowl to prevent moisture buildup.
