Display Elements:

  • Clock Time: Displays the current time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.
  • Alarm Time: Shows the set alarm time.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back or bottom of the alarm clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert three (3) new 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Power-On

Upon battery installation, the clock will power on and display default settings. You can now proceed to set the time and other functions.

Operating Instructions

The alarm clock features intuitive button operation. Refer to the product overview for button locations.

Setting Time (12/24 Hour Format)

  1. Press and hold the "TIME SET" button (or equivalent, typically labeled "SET" or "MODE") until the hour display flashes.
  2. Use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons (or "+" and "-") to adjust the hour.
  3. Press "TIME SET" again to move to minute adjustment. Adjust minutes using "UP" and "DOWN".
  4. Press "TIME SET" again to select 12-hour or 24-hour format. Adjust using "UP" and "DOWN".
  5. Press "TIME SET" to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Setting Date

  1. In time display mode, press the "DATE SET" button (or "MODE" repeatedly until date flashes).
  2. Use "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the year, then month, then day.
  3. Press "DATE SET" to confirm and exit date setting mode.

Setting Alarm

  1. Press and hold the "ALARM SET" button (or equivalent) until the alarm hour display flashes.
  2. Use "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press "ALARM SET" again to move to alarm minute adjustment. Adjust minutes using "UP" and "DOWN".
  4. Press "ALARM SET" to confirm the alarm time.
  5. To activate/deactivate the alarm, locate the "ALARM ON/OFF" switch or button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.

Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, tap the dinosaur head on top of the clock to activate the 5-minute snooze function. The alarm will sound again after 5 minutes. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button or flip the alarm switch off.

Temperature Display (°C/°F)

The clock displays the ambient temperature. To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the "°C/°F" button or switch, usually on the back or side of the unit, and press/toggle it.

Automatic Night Lighting and Backlight

  • Automatic Night Lighting: The built-in ambient light sensor automatically activates a soft background light in dark environments, making the display readable without glare. To enable or disable this feature, locate the "SENSOR" switch on the back or side of the clock and toggle it to "ON" or "OFF".
  • Manual Backlight: To temporarily illuminate the screen in any lighting condition, press the "LIGHT" button (or tap the dinosaur head if it also functions as a light button). The screen will brighten for a few seconds.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

Battery Replacement

When the display dims or functions become erratic, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section. Always replace all three AAA batteries at the same time with new ones.
