The WHOY Dehumidifier is designed to remove excess moisture from the air, creating a more comfortable and healthy environment. It features smart controls, efficient operation, and is suitable for large areas up to 6,000 sq. ft.

Control Panel Features:
- Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
- Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes (Hum Set, Turbo, Auto).
- Humidity Setting Buttons: Adjusts desired humidity level.
- Timer Button: Sets the auto on/off timer.
- Display Screen: Shows current humidity, temperature, and settings.
5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
- Remove all packing materials and ensure no components are missing.
- Place the unit upright on a flat, stable surface. Allow it to stand for at least 24 hours before plugging it in, especially if it was transported on its side.
5.2 Positioning the Dehumidifier
- Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Do not place the unit near heat-generating appliances or in direct sunlight.
- For optimal performance, close all doors and windows in the room where the dehumidifier is operating.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Initial Power On
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the Power Button on the control panel to turn on the unit. The display will show the current humidity level.
6.2 Operating Modes
Press the Mode Button to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Hum Set Mode: Allows you to manually set your desired humidity level (e.g., 30%-90% RH). The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on/off to maintain it.
- Turbo Mode: Operates at maximum fan speed and dehumidification capacity (129.5 CFM) for rapid moisture removal or quick clothes drying.
- Auto Mode: Automatically balances humidity levels and adjusts fan speed for hassle-free operation. The unit will operate based on predefined humidity thresholds (e.g., >70% RH: High Power; 55-70% RH: Low Power; <55% RH: Compressor Off).

6.3 Setting Desired Humidity
In Hum Set Mode, use the humidity setting buttons (usually Up/Down arrows) to select your desired humidity level. The unit will aim to maintain this level.
6.4 Timer Function
Press the Timer Button to set a specific time for the unit to turn on or off. This allows for scheduled operation and energy conservation.

6.5 Smart App Control
The dehumidifier can be controlled remotely via a smartphone app. Download the WHOY app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your device with the dehumidifier.
- Monitor current humidity and temperature.
- Adjust operating modes and humidity settings.
- Set timers and schedules.
- Receive notifications (e.g., water tank full).

6.6 Power-Off Memory Function
The unit features a power-off memory function. In case of a power outage, the dehumidifier will automatically resume operation with the last settings once power is restored.
7. Drainage Options
7.1 Water Tank Drainage
The dehumidifier collects water in a 2.15-gallon (8-liter) internal water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an alarm will sound. To empty the tank:
- Gently pull out the water tank from the side of the unit.
- Carefully empty the collected water into a sink or drain.
- Slide the empty tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.
7.2 Continuous Drainage
For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, use the included drain hose.
- Locate the continuous drain outlet on the back or side of the dehumidifier.
- Remove the rubber stopper (if present).
- Connect one end of the drain hose to the outlet. Ensure a secure connection.
- Route the other end of the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink). Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage and is free of kinks.

8. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
8.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
The washable air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter cover (usually on the back or side of the unit).
- Remove the filter.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.
- Reinsert the dry filter and close the cover.

8.2 Cleaning the Unit Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
8.3 Storage
If storing the dehumidifier for an extended period:
- Empty the water tank and ensure it is completely dry.
- Clean the air filter.
- Wrap the power cord neatly.
- Cover the unit to protect it from dust.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
9. Troubleshooting
