1. Product Overview

The fnetic 4K HD Digital Media Player is a compact device designed to play various media files (videos, music, photos) from USB drives or Micro SD cards on your TV, monitor, or projector. It supports 4K resolution and advanced H.265/HEVC decoding for high-quality playback.

3. Setup

3.1 Connecting to a Display Device

The media player offers multiple output options:

• HDMI: Connect the included HDMI cable from the player's HDMI port to your TV, monitor, or projector for 4K resolution.
• AV: Use the included AV cable to connect to older TVs.
• Optical: For up to 7.1-channel surround sound, connect an optical cable (not included) to your speakers or amplifier.

3.2 Powering On

Connect the DC adapter to the DC 5V port on the media player and plug it into a power outlet. The device will power on automatically.

3.3 Inserting Storage Devices

The player supports various storage options:

• Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card into the TF slot.
• USB Flash Drive/Hard Drive: Connect a USB flash drive or USB hard drive to either of the two USB 2.0 ports. Note that only one drive can be read at a time.

Important Note:

• Some high-capacity USB hard drives may require an external 12V power source due to varying power demands. Consult your drive's seller for assistance.
• The player is compatible with FAT32, exFAT, and NTFS file formats. MAC-formatted drives are not supported.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Main Menu Navigation

Upon powering on, the device will display a main menu with options for Videos, Photos, Music, Files, and Settings. Use the included remote control to navigate through these options.

4.2 Playing Media

Select the desired media type (Videos, Photos, or Music) from the main menu. Then, choose your storage device (USB Disk or Internal Shared Storage) and browse to the file you wish to play.

• Supported Video Formats: H.265/HEVC (MKV, MOV, AVI), MPEG, FLV, RM, 3GP, MP4, WMV, RMVB, DAT, MPG, TS, M2TS.
• Supported Music Formats: MP3, OGG, FLAC, APE, AAC, WMA.
• Supported Photo Formats: JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG.

4.3 Playback Options

The player offers versatile playback controls:

• Auto-Play: Configure the player to automatically start playing videos, music, or photos upon power-on. This is ideal for digital signage applications.
• Resume Playback: The player can resume playback from where you left off.
• Repeat & Shuffle: Photos and videos can play in sequence, while music supports shuffle mode. You can also set sequential loop, single loop, or random loop for videos.

4.4 Subtitle Options

During video playback, you can customize advertising subtitles by adjusting their position, size, and color. Scrolling text is supported for promotional content.

4.5 Display Settings

Access the 'Settings' menu to adjust various display parameters:

• Display Resolution: Select your preferred output resolution (e.g., 4K, 1080p).
• Display Zoom: Adjust the zoom level of the display.
• Display Rotation: Rotate the display output (e.g., 90, 180, 270 degrees) for vertical screen setups.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: The player features a high-end zinc alloy casing for excellent heat dissipation. Keep the device clean and free from dust.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the DC adapter is securely connected to the player and a working power outlet.
• No Video Output: Check all cable connections (HDMI, AV). Verify the correct input source is selected on your TV/monitor. Try adjusting the 'Display Resolution' in the settings.
• No Audio Output: Check audio cable connections (HDMI, AV, Optical). Ensure the volume is not muted on the player or your display/audio system.
• Playback Stuttering/Lag: Ensure your storage device is compatible (FAT32, exFAT, NTFS). For high-capacity USB hard drives, ensure an external 12V power source is used if required.
• Incorrect Aspect Ratio: Access playback settings to adjust the aspect ratio. If issues persist, ensure your media file is correctly encoded.
• Subtitles Not Displaying/Incorrectly: Check subtitle display settings. Ensure the subtitle file is in a supported format and correctly named alongside the video file.
• MAC-formatted Drives: This media player does not support MAC-formatted drives. Please use FAT32, exFAT, or NTFS.
