2. Safety Warnings

Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

  • Assembly: Always assemble with at least two adults. Ensure all parts are correctly aligned and securely fastened before use.
  • Anchoring: Securely anchor the gazebo to the ground using the provided expansion bolts and wind ropes. Do not use in high winds or severe weather conditions without proper anchoring.
  • Weather Conditions: While the canopy offers UV protection and is water-resistant, it is recommended to remove the canopy and curtains during extreme weather (heavy snow, strong winds, thunderstorms) to prevent damage.
  • Fire Safety: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the gazebo fabric. The fabric is not fireproof.
  • Maintenance: Regularly inspect the frame and fabric for wear, tear, or damage. Replace damaged parts immediately.
  • Children: Keep children away from the assembly area. Do not allow children to climb on or play with the gazebo structure.

3. Package Contents

Please verify that all components are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. Refer to the packing list included with your product for a detailed inventory of parts. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact MELLCOM customer service.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two adults and can be completed in approximately two hours. Follow the numbered steps below in sequence.

  1. Prepare the Area: Choose a level surface for assembly. Ensure adequate space around the gazebo footprint.
  2. Assemble the Frame: Begin by connecting the main support beams and columns. The thickened square frame design enhances stability. Utilize the tool-free screw design for quick and effortless connections.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the canopy and curtains with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame Care: Wipe the aluminum frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. The powder-coated finish resists rust, but regular cleaning helps maintain its appearance.
  • Seasonal Storage: For prolonged periods of non-use or during winter months, it is recommended to disassemble the gazebo and store it in a dry, protected area to extend its lifespan.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Inspect the fabric for any tears or damage and repair as needed.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Gazebo feels unstable: Ensure all frame connections are securely tightened. Verify that the expansion bolts are properly anchored to the ground. Attach and tension wind ropes if not already in use.
  • Water pooling on canopy: Ensure the canopy is taut and properly stretched over the frame. Check for any obstructions that might prevent water runoff.
  • Curtains/Nettings not sliding smoothly: Inspect the dual-track system for any debris or misalignment. Clean the tracks if necessary.
  • Difficulty with assembly: Refer to the assembly instructions and diagrams. Ensure you have at least two adults assisting. If a part seems difficult to fit, double-check its orientation and the corresponding part number.
