- DTF Hot Melt powder [1kg]
- DTF Film Roll [33cm x 100m]
2.2 Printer Placement
Place the printer on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure sufficient space around the printer for operation, maintenance, and heat dissipation. Avoid direct sunlight and areas with extreme temperature fluctuations or high humidity.
2.3 Software Installation
Insert the provided software CD or download the latest drivers and RIP software from the official HAOLIC website. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation on your Windows-compatible computer. Ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for optimal performance.
2.4 Ink Loading
- Gently shake each ink bottle (CMYK and White) before opening.
- Carefully pour the corresponding colored inks into their designated ink tanks on the printer.
- For white ink, ensure the white ink circulation system is active after filling to prevent sedimentation.
2.5 Film Roll Loading
Load the DTF film roll onto the film holder according to the printer's instructions. Ensure the film is aligned correctly and feeds smoothly into the printer. The film rewind function will manage unused film during printing.
2.6 A3 DTF Oven Setup
Position the A3 DTF oven in a safe, well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials. Connect it to a power source. Refer to the oven's separate manual for specific temperature and curing time settings, which will vary based on the hot melt powder and ink used.
2.7 Initial Power On
Connect the printer's power cable and turn on the main power switch. The printer will perform an initial self-check. Follow any prompts on the touchscreen interface.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Printing Process
- Design Preparation: Create or import your design using graphic software. Ensure the design is in a compatible format (PNG, JPG, TIF, BMP) and has a transparent background if printing white ink.
- RIP Software Settings: Open your design in the RIP software. Configure print settings such as resolution (e.g., 1440x1440dpi), color profile (CMYK+WW), print speed, and white ink layers.
- Send to Printer: Once settings are confirmed, send the print job to the HAOLIC XP600 printer.
- Powder Application: After printing, apply the hot melt powder evenly over the wet ink on the film. Shake off excess powder.
- Curing: Place the powdered film into the A3 DTF oven to cure the ink and powder. Follow recommended temperature and time settings for proper adhesion.
- Transfer: Once cured, the film is ready for transfer onto your desired material (e.g., T-shirt, canvas, leather) using a heat press.
3.2 User-Friendly Touchscreen Interface
The printer features an intuitive touchscreen for easy navigation and control. Use it to monitor print status, access maintenance functions, and adjust basic settings. Refer to the on-screen menu for specific options.
3.3 Film Rewind Function
The HAOLIC XP600 includes a film rewind function that automatically rolls back unused film, minimizing material waste and improving cost-efficiency. This feature ensures that only the necessary amount of film is used for each print job.

Figure 3.1: The Film Rewind Function allows for precise film management, reducing waste by rolling back unused portions of the film after printing.
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your HAOLIC DTF printer. Adhere to the following guidelines:
4.1 White Ink Circulation System
The printer is equipped with an upgraded white ink circulation system to prevent ink sedimentation and clogging, which are common issues with white DTF ink. This system keeps the ink flowing continuously and stirs it regularly to maintain consistency.

Figure 4.1: The Pro-Level White Ink Management system, featuring both circulation and stirring mechanisms, significantly reduces sedimentation and extends printhead lifespan.
4.2 Automatic Cleaning and Printhead Reset
- Auto-Cleaning: Utilize the auto-cleaning function via the printer software or touchscreen interface regularly to clear printhead nozzles and prevent clogs.
- Printhead Reset: The printer features an automatic printhead reset function when powered off, contributing to fewer errors and extended printhead life.
4.3 Daily Maintenance
- Observation Window: Use the clear observation window to monitor ink levels and the general condition of the printer's internal components.
- Wipe Down: Gently wipe down the printer's exterior and any accessible ink residue with a lint-free cloth.
- Powder Management: Ensure the hot melt powder is stored in a dry, sealed container to prevent clumping. Clean any powder residue from the application area to avoid contamination.
5. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter. For problems not listed here, please contact technical support.
5.1 Common Printing Issues
- Poor Print Quality/Streaks:
Possible Cause: Clogged nozzles, low ink levels, incorrect print settings.
Solution: Perform a nozzle check and head cleaning cycle. Check ink levels and refill if necessary. Verify print resolution and color configuration in RIP software. - Ink Not Flowing:
Possible Cause: White ink sedimentation, air bubbles in ink lines.
Solution: Ensure white ink circulation is active. Perform a manual ink prime if available. Gently tap ink lines to dislodge air bubbles. - Film Jamming:
Possible Cause: Improper film loading, damaged film, foreign objects.
Solution: Re-load film correctly, ensuring it's aligned. Inspect film for creases or damage. Remove any debris from the film path.
5.2 System Errors
- Printer Not Responding:
Possible Cause: Loose cable connection, software communication error.
Solution: Check USB/network cable connections. Restart both printer and computer. Reinstall printer drivers if necessary. - Error Codes on Touchscreen:
Solution: Refer to the specific error code in the software manual or contact technical support with the code displayed.
