Setup and Installation

This section outlines the general steps for installing your Senfot one-piece toilet. Professional installation is recommended. Ensure your rough-in measurement matches the toilet's 12-inch requirement.

  1. Prepare the Area: Turn off the water supply to the bathroom and flush the old toilet to empty the tank. Disconnect and remove the old toilet. Clean the flange area thoroughly.
  2. Install Wax Ring: Place a new wax ring around the drain opening on the floor flange.
  3. Position the Toilet: Carefully lift the new toilet and align the bolt holes on the toilet base with the flange bolts. Lower the toilet straight down onto the wax ring. Note: Some users have reported difficulty accessing and tightening the floor bolts due to limited space. It is crucial to ensure proper alignment and secure tightening.
  4. Secure the Toilet: Hand-tighten the nuts onto the flange bolts. Alternate tightening each nut a quarter turn at a time to ensure even pressure and prevent cracking the ceramic. Do not overtighten.
  5. Connect Water Supply: Connect the water supply line to the fill valve on the toilet. Ensure all connections are hand-tight, then use a wrench for a final quarter-turn.
  6. Install Toilet Seat: Attach the soft-closing toilet seat using the provided seat bolt kit.
  7. Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply slowly and check for any leaks around the base of the toilet and the water supply connection. Flush the toilet several times to ensure proper operation and check for leaks.

Operating Instructions

Your Senfot toilet is designed for efficient and comfortable use.

  • Flushing: The toilet features a left-hand trip lever for flushing. Press the lever down completely to activate the powerful siphon flushing system. This system uses 1.27 gallons per flush (GPF) for water conservation.
  • Soft-Closing Seat: The toilet seat is equipped with a soft-closing mechanism. To close the seat, simply push it down gently, and it will lower slowly and quietly on its own, preventing slamming.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your toilet.

  • Cleaning the Surface: Use a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Wipe down all exterior and interior surfaces. The seamless one-piece design and specially treated surface are designed to resist dirt and yellowing, making cleaning easier.
  • Cleaning the Seat: The PP soft-closing seat can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the plastic.
  • Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive pads, powders, or cleaners containing bleach, acids, or ammonia, as these can scratch the ceramic or damage the seat and internal components.
  • Check for Leaks: Periodically inspect the water supply line and the base of the toilet for any signs of leaks. Address any leaks promptly to prevent water damage.
