3. Safety Information

Always prioritize safety when operating a motorcycle. Use the intercom responsibly and ensure it does not distract you from riding. 4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the intercom unit. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the unit and to a USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

A fully charged 1000mAh battery provides approximately 12 hours of talk and music, 18 hours of talk time, 24 hours of music playback, and over 300 hours of standby time.

4.2 Mounting the Intercom Unit

The intercom unit can be mounted to your helmet using either the clip-on base or the 3M adhesive plates.

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable flat surface on the left side of your helmet.
  2. Clip-on Base: Slide the clip-on base between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. 3M Adhesive: Clean the chosen area on the helmet. Peel off the protective film from a 3M adhesive plate and firmly press it onto the helmet. Attach the intercom unit to the adhesive plate.

4.3 Installing Speakers and Microphones

Attach the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the provided Velcro pads. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality. Connect the appropriate microphone (boom mic for open-face helmets, wired mic for full-face helmets) to the intercom unit's microphone port. Route the microphone cable discreetly within the helmet padding.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing (Phone)

  1. Ensure the intercom unit is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for "vernee Vitus".
  4. Select "vernee Vitus" from the list of available devices to pair. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.

5.3 Volume Control

The vernee Vitus features glove-friendly buttons for easy volume adjustment while riding.

  • Increase Volume: Press the Volume Up button.
  • Decrease Volume: Press the Volume Down button.

6. Intercom Functionality

7.1 Music Sharing
