4. Setup: Battery Installation
The DX TegaSword requires 3 LR44 batteries (sold separately) for its light and sound functions.
- Locate the battery compartment on the main unit. This is typically on the back or underside of the toy.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 new LR44 batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Note: Always supervise children during battery installation.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Understanding the Two Modes
The DX TegaSword can transform between two primary modes:
- Gozyu Wolf Mode: A gauntlet-like form worn on the hand, featuring a central slot for Sentai Rings.
- TegaSword Red Mode: A larger robot or sword-like form, also with a central slot for Sentai Rings.

5.2. Transformation to Gozyu Wolf Mode
To transform the DX TegaSword into Gozyu Wolf Mode:
- Hold the main unit firmly.
- Adjust the parts to form the gauntlet shape, allowing your hand to fit inside.
- Insert the "Gozyu Wolf" Sentai Ring into the central slot on the gauntlet.
- Perform a clapping motion with your hands while wearing the gauntlet to activate transformation sounds and lights.

5.3. Transformation to TegaSword Red Mode
To transform the DX TegaSword into TegaSword Red Mode:
- Adjust the main unit's parts to form the robot/sword configuration.
- Insert the "TegaSword Red" Sentai Ring into the central slot.
- This action will activate powerful sound effects and light emissions from the unit.

5.4. Using Sentai Rings for Power-Ups
The DX TegaSword is compatible with various Sentai Rings (sold separately) from the DX Sentai Ring Series. Inserting different rings into the central slot in either mode will activate unique power-up sounds and effects, enhancing playability.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the product with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse in water.
