Mattress Placement:

Headboard Adjustment:

If you need to adjust the headboard height after initial assembly, carefully loosen the bolts connecting the headboard to the frame, adjust to the desired height (45.3", 47.2", or 49.2"), and then re-tighten the bolts securely.
