7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Urageuxy Weather Station, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No data displayed on the console:
Ensure both the indoor console and outdoor sensor array are powered on. Check battery levels for both units. Verify that the outdoor sensor is within the 100m transmission range and free from major obstructions. Re-establish the connection between the sensor and console as per the full manual.
  • Inaccurate outdoor temperature readings:
The outdoor sensor's temperature readings can be affected by direct sunlight. Ensure the sensor is installed in a shaded area or protected from direct solar radiation to prevent overheating. While the sensor has a radiation shield, extreme direct sun can still impact accuracy.
  • WiFi connection issues or app not displaying data:
Confirm your home network is 2.4 GHz. Ensure the weather station is correctly configured to connect to your Wi-Fi router. Check your internet connection. If using a third-party app (e.g., Weather Underground, WeatherCloud), ensure your station is properly registered and linked to your account on their platform. Some apps may require updates or specific configuration steps.
  • Wind or rain data is incorrect:
Ensure the outdoor sensor array is mounted level and free from any physical obstructions that could impede the wind cups, wind vane, or rain collector. Clear any debris from the rain funnel.

8. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your weather station, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the outdoor sensor array, especially the rain collector and solar panel, to remove dirt, leaves, or other debris that could affect accuracy. Use a soft, damp cloth.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the indoor console and outdoor sensor array as needed. Low battery indicators will appear on the display.
  • Sensor Check: Regularly inspect the wind cups and wind vane for free movement. Ensure the outdoor sensor is securely mounted and stable.
  • Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the associated app for any available firmware or software updates for your weather station to ensure continued functionality and improvements.

9. Warranty and Support

For warranty information, technical support, or further assistance, please refer to the contact details provided in the full product manual or visit the official Urageuxy website. Keep your purchase receipt as proof of purchase for any warranty claims.
