2. Safety Information
The GUNJI Automatic Self-Cleaning Litter Box is equipped with multiple safety features to ensure the well-being of your cat. Adhere to the following guidelines:
- Multi-Layer Safety Sensors: The device incorporates dual infrared sensors (body temperature detection), motion-sensing radars (real-time movement tracking), Hall sensors (mechanical interaction monitoring), and gravity sensors (weight distribution sensing). This integrated network immediately pauses cleaning operations if a cat approaches or enters the unit, resuming only after the cat has left.
- Ensure the device is placed on a stable, level surface.
- Keep the power adapter and cables away from water and out of reach of pets to prevent damage or electrical hazards.
- Do not allow children to play with or operate the litter box without adult supervision.
- Use only the provided power adapter.

4. Setup
- Placement: Position the litter box on a firm, level surface in a location accessible to your cat(s) and near a power outlet. Ensure adequate space around the unit for proper operation and maintenance.
- Install Protective Pad and Waste Bin: Place the protective pad in front of the litter box. Insert a garbage bag into the waste collection bin and slide the bin into its designated compartment at the base of the unit.
- Add Litter: Open the top cover of the litter box. Pour clumping cat litter into the rotating drum. The unit is compatible with various types of clumping litter, including tofu, bentonite, mineral, and mixed cat litter. Ensure the litter level is between the MIN and MAX indicators inside the drum. Close the top cover securely.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the litter box and then into a wall outlet. The unit will perform an initial calibration cycle.
- APP Connection (Optional): Download the dedicated mobile application. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the litter box to your 2.4G WiFi network. This enables remote control and health monitoring features.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Automatic Cleaning Cycle
The litter box automatically detects when your cat has used it and initiates a cleaning cycle after a set delay (customizable via the app). The internal drum rotates, sifting clean litter and depositing waste into the sealed collection bin below.
