- Rear Axle and Frame Connection:
Loosen the screws on the rear axle assembly. Connect the rear axle to the main frame. Pre-tighten the screws and nuts to secure the connection. - Rear Wheel Installation:
Identify the left and right rear wheels. The tire with larger holes is for the rear wheel. Install the wheels onto the rear axle, ensuring proper alignment. Secure with bolts and gaskets. - Chain Installation:
Install the chain onto the front sprocket and rear freewheel. Press and fix the chain using the provided link. Tighten any associated screws and nuts. - Front Wheel and Fork Assembly:
Assemble the front wheel to the front fork. Ensure all washers and nuts are correctly placed and tightened. - Handlebar Installation:
Insert the handlebar stem into the handlebar tube. Adjust the height of the handlebar to a comfortable position and tighten the screw. Adjust the angle of the handle grips and brake levers as needed. - Brake Assembly (Front and Rear):
Assemble the front brake calipers to the front fork. Loosen the screw, insert the brake wire, and adjust the length for proper tension. Tighten the screw. Repeat for the rear brake, ensuring the wire runs through the designated holes and the spring is correctly positioned. - Fender and Reflector Installation:
Pre-assemble the front and rear fenders with their respective brackets and taillight. Attach the front fender to the front fork and the rear fenders to the rear frame. Install the front reflector on the handlebar and wheel reflectors on the spokes. - Seat Installation:
Attach the seat to the seat post. Insert the seat post into the main frame's seat tube. Adjust the seat height and tighten the seat post clamp securely. - Pedal Installation:
Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal has a left-hand thread, and the right pedal has a right-hand thread. Thread each pedal into its corresponding crank arm by hand, then tighten with a wrench. - Basket Assembly and Installation:
Assemble the large rear basket using the provided metal sheets to secure the panels. Once assembled, place the basket onto the rear frame and secure it using the provided screws and brackets. - Water Cup Holder Installation:

5. Operating Instructions
Your OUTROAD Adult Tricycle is designed for comfortable and stable riding. Follow these tips for optimal use:
- Adjusting Seat and Handlebars: Ensure the seat and handlebars are adjusted to your height for a comfortable and ergonomic riding posture. The adjustable seat allows for customization to fit riders between 4'11" and 5'10" for the 24-inch model.
- Braking: The tricycle is equipped with front and rear brakes. Practice using both brakes smoothly to control your speed and stop safely.
- Single Speed Operation: This tricycle features a single-speed design, which simplifies operation and reduces overall weight, making it ideal for beginners or elderly users.
- Using the Basket: The large rear basket is perfect for carrying groceries, picnic items, or personal belongings. Ensure items are securely placed to prevent shifting during transit.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will prolong the life of your tricycle and ensure safe operation:
- Tire Pressure: Regularly check and maintain the recommended tire pressure for optimal performance and safety.
- Chain Lubrication: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth pedaling and prevent rust.
- Brake Checks: Periodically inspect brake pads and cables for wear and proper adjustment. Replace worn parts as necessary.
- Cleaning: Clean the tricycle regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the paint or components.
- Fastener Checks: Ensure all nuts, bolts, and quick-release levers are securely tightened before each ride.
7. Troubleshooting
Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:
- Loose Chain: If the chain feels loose or comes off, check the tension. Adjust the rear wheel position slightly backward in the frame dropouts to increase tension, then re-tighten the axle nuts.
- Brakes Not Responsive: Inspect the brake cables for fraying or stretching. Adjust the cable tension at the brake lever or caliper. Ensure brake pads are making full contact with the rim.
- Wobbly Wheels: Check if the wheel nuts are securely tightened. If the wheel itself is bent or damaged, it may need professional repair or replacement.
- Pedals Difficult to Turn: Ensure the pedals are correctly installed (left and right specific). Lubricate the pedal bearings if necessary.
