4. Installation Guide
4.1 Before You Begin
- Confirm your TV's weight, size, and VESA pattern are within the mount's specifications.
- Identify your wall type (wood studs, concrete, or brick).
- Gather necessary tools (e.g., drill, stud finder, screwdriver, measuring tape).
4.2 Wall Type Compatibility
This mount is compatible with:
- Wood Studs: Fits 8", 12", or 16" wood studs. Use a stud finder to locate the center of the studs.
- Concrete Walls: Requires concrete anchors (included).
- Brick Walls: Requires brick anchors (included).
Important: Do not install this mount on drywall alone. It must be secured to structural elements.

4.3 VESA Compatibility
VESA refers to the distance between the four mounting holes on the back of your TV. This mount supports VESA patterns from 200x100mm to 600x400mm.

4.4 Check Cable Outlets
Before mounting, check the location of your TV's cable outlets to ensure the mount does not obstruct them. The wall plate offers ample side clearance for accessing power cords and media ports.

4.5 Mounting Steps
Follow these steps for a secure installation. A drilling template and bubble level are included to assist you.

Image: Visual guide for the three main installation steps: attaching brackets, mounting the wall plate, and hanging the TV.
- Attach TV Brackets to TV Back: Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit. Secure the two TV brackets to the VESA mounting holes on the back of your television. Ensure they are firmly attached and aligned.
- Install the Wall Plate: Determine the desired height for your TV. Use the provided drilling template and bubble level to mark the pilot holes on your wall. Drill the holes according to your wall type (wood stud, concrete, or brick). Secure the wall plate assembly to the wall using the appropriate lag bolts and anchors.
- Hang TV onto Wall Plate: Carefully lift your TV with the attached brackets and hook them onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated. Use the safety screws to prevent accidental detachment.
- Post-Installation Leveling: After hanging the TV, you can make fine adjustments to ensure it is perfectly level. The mount allows for a ±3° horizontal leveling adjustment.

5. Operation and Adjustments
The HOME VISION Full Motion TV Wall Mount offers various adjustments for optimal viewing.
5.1 Extension and Retraction
The articulating arms allow you to extend your TV from 2.68 inches (68mm) when retracted to 16.53 inches (420mm) from the wall. Gently pull or push the TV to achieve the desired distance.

5.2 Swivel Adjustment
The mount allows for a swivel of up to ±65°, depending on your TV size. This enables you to angle your TV for optimal viewing from different positions in the room.

5.3 Tilt Adjustment
Adjust the tilt angle from +5° to -15° to reduce glare from lights or windows and achieve a more comfortable viewing experience.

6. Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
- Cleaning: Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the finish.
- Lubrication: If the articulating arms become stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the moving joints. Avoid oil-based lubricants.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| TV is not level after installation. | Minor misalignment during installation. | Use the post-installation leveling feature to adjust the horizontal angle by ±3°. Refer to section 4.5. |
| TV does not fit the mount. | Incorrect VESA pattern or TV size/weight. | Verify your TV's VESA pattern, weight, and size against the product specifications (Section 3). If incompatible, do not proceed with installation. |
| Mount arms are stiff or difficult to move. | Joints may require lubrication or are too tight. | Ensure no locking mechanisms are engaged. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the moving joints if necessary. |
| Cables are obstructed by the mount. | Mounting position interferes with TV ports. | Review Section 4.4. If possible, adjust the TV brackets or the wall plate slightly to clear the ports. Use cable ties to manage cables neatly. |
