Safety Precautions

Setup

1. Initial Access and Battery Installation

2. Mounting the Safe (Optional)

1. Setting Your Personal Password

  2. Access Reset Button: Locate the reset button inside the safe, usually on the back of the door or near the battery compartment. Press this button. The indicator light on the keypad should illuminate.
  3. Enter New Password: On the keypad, enter your desired 4-8 digit password.
  4. Confirm Password: Press the "#" key to confirm. The indicator light should flash or beep to confirm successful setting.
  5. Test New Password: With the door open, test your new password to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

2. Registering Fingerprints

The safe utilizes semiconductor fingerprint technology for quick access.

  1. Open the Safe: Ensure the safe door is open.
  2. Access Fingerprint Enrollment Button: Locate the fingerprint enrollment button (often the same as the reset button or a dedicated 'SET' button) inside the safe. Press this button. The fingerprint sensor light should activate.
  3. Scan Fingerprint: Place your finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. Lift and repeat the scan multiple times (typically 3-5 times) from different angles as prompted by the safe's indicators (lights/beeps).
  4. Confirmation: A successful registration will be indicated by a specific light pattern or sound.
  5. Register Multiple Fingerprints: Repeat the process for additional fingers or users as desired.
  6. Test Fingerprints: With the door open, test each registered fingerprint to ensure it unlocks the safe.

3. Unlocking the Safe

  • Using Fingerprint: Place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. If recognized, the safe will unlock, and you can turn the handle to open the door.
  • Using Password: Enter your personal password on the keypad, then press the "#" key. If correct, the safe will unlock, and you can turn the handle to open the door.
  • Using Emergency Key: In case of battery failure or forgotten password, remove the keypad cover, insert the emergency key, turn it, and simultaneously turn the handle to open the safe.

4. Locking the Safe

To lock the safe, simply close the door and turn the handle counter-clockwise until it is fully engaged. The safe will automatically lock.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

When the battery power is low, the safe may emit a warning sound or display a low battery indicator. Replace all batteries promptly to avoid being locked out.

  1. Open the Safe: Use your password, fingerprint, or emergency key to open the safe.
