1. Introduction
This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for the Generic 3-in-1 Weather Station, Model CE6J5DG51798Y4Y0EX7D691N1KAAS. This mechanical instrument is designed to monitor indoor temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, offering insights into local weather trends without the need for batteries.
Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance.
2. Safety Information
- Handle the instrument with care to avoid damage to the delicate internal mechanisms.
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or high humidity environments (e.g., bathrooms, saunas) as this may affect accuracy and longevity.
- Avoid placing the weather station near heat sources (radiators, ovens) or air conditioning vents, which can distort temperature and humidity readings.
- Keep out of reach of children to prevent accidental damage.
- This device is for indoor use only.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1 x Generic 3-in-1 Weather Station Unit (Barometer, Thermometer, Hygrometer)

4. Product Overview
The Generic 3-in-1 Weather Station is a compact, mechanical instrument designed for indoor environmental monitoring. It features three primary measurement functions integrated into a single unit:
- Barometer: Measures atmospheric pressure, indicated in hPa (hectopascals) and mmHg (millimeters of mercury). The main dial includes weather icons to help interpret pressure trends.
- Thermometer: Measures ambient temperature in degrees Celsius (°C).
- Hygrometer: Measures relative humidity in percentage (RH%).

Figure 4.2: Rear view of the weather station. This image focuses on the back panel, revealing the circular mounting bracket and a small screw, likely for barometer calibration.
5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the weather station from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any visible damage. If damage is found, contact customer support.
5.2 Placement
For accurate readings, select an appropriate indoor location:
- Choose a stable, flat surface or a wall away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat sources.
- Ensure the location has good air circulation.
- Avoid placing it near windows that are frequently opened, as this can cause rapid fluctuations in readings.

Figure 5.1: Example placement on a desk. The weather station is shown on a flat surface, demonstrating a typical indoor placement.

Figure 5.2: Another example of indoor placement. This image shows the weather station on a nightstand, illustrating its suitability for various home environments.
5.3 Initial Barometer Calibration (Optional)
The barometer is typically pre-calibrated. However, for optimal accuracy, it is recommended to calibrate it to your local atmospheric pressure. You can obtain your current local atmospheric pressure from a reliable source, such as a local weather service or airport.
- Locate the small adjustment screw on the back of the unit (refer to Figure 4.2).
- Using a small screwdriver, gently turn the screw until the barometer needle points to your current local atmospheric pressure reading.
- Allow the unit to stabilize for 15-30 minutes after adjustment.
Note: Temperature and humidity gauges are typically self-adjusting and do not require manual calibration.
6. Operating Instructions
Once set up, the weather station continuously monitors and displays the environmental conditions. Readings are mechanical and update as conditions change.
6.1 Reading the Barometer
- The large central dial indicates atmospheric pressure. Readings are provided in hPa (hectopascals) and mmHg (millimeters of mercury).
- Interpreting Trends:
- Rising Pressure: Generally indicates improving weather (clearer skies, fair weather).
- Falling Pressure: Generally indicates deteriorating weather (clouds, rain, storms).
- Stable Pressure: Indicates no significant change in weather.
- Observe the movement of the needle over several hours to identify trends.
6.2 Reading the Thermometer
- The lower-left dial displays the ambient temperature in degrees Celsius (°C).
- The needle points to the current temperature.
6.3 Reading the Hygrometer
- The lower-right dial displays the relative humidity in percentage (RH%).
- The needle indicates the current humidity level.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish or the clear display cover.
- Avoid getting moisture into the internal mechanisms.
7.2 Storage
If storing the device for an extended period, keep it in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Inaccurate Barometer Reading | Not calibrated to local pressure. | Calibrate the barometer using the adjustment screw on the back (refer to Section 5.3). |
| Inaccurate Temperature/Humidity | Device placed near heat sources, drafts, or in direct sunlight. | Relocate the weather station to a more stable environment, away from direct influences. Allow time for readings to stabilize. |
| No Needle Movement | Mechanical damage or obstruction. | Gently tap the glass to see if the needle moves. If not, contact customer support. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit. |
