4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your EMIAH C029 Series Office Chair. An assembly video is provided for visual guidance.

4.1. Base Assembly

1. Attach the five-star base legs to the central hub using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure they are securely fastened.
2. Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each base leg. Push firmly until they click into place.
3. Insert the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled base. Place the gas lift cover over the cylinder.

4.2. Seat Assembly

1. Locate the seat cushion. Attach the chair mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism aligns with the front of the seat.
2. Attach the footrest brackets to the underside of the seat cushion, securing them with screws.
3. Slide the retractable footrest into the footrest brackets. Secure the footrest with the rubber rings at the rear end of the pedal bracket to prevent it from being pulled out completely.

4.3. Backrest and Armrest Assembly

1. Attach the backrest plate to the backrest cushion using the provided screws.
2. Align the backrest with the seat cushion and attach the armrests. Secure the armrests to both the backrest and the seat cushion using the appropriate screws and washers. Ensure all connections are tight.

1. Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder on the base. Press down firmly to ensure it is securely seated.

5.1. Height Adjustment

• To raise the seat: Lift the lever on the right side of the seat while taking your weight off the chair.
• To lower the seat: Lift the lever on the right side of the seat while remaining seated.

5.2. Reclining Function

• To recline: Pull the lever on the left side of the seat upwards to unlock the backrest. Lean back to your desired angle (between 95° and 155°). Push the lever downwards to lock the backrest in position.
• To return to upright: Pull the lever upwards, lean forward slightly, and then push the lever downwards to lock.

5.3. Retractable Footrest

• To extend the footrest: Pull the footrest out from underneath the seat.
• To retract the footrest: Push the footrest back underneath the seat until it is fully hidden.
