1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Information

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. Read all instructions before using your K-Elite coffeemaker.

  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles and knobs.
  • To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.

  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

4. Initial Setup

Follow these steps before your first brew:

  1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials and place the coffeemaker on a stable, level surface.
  2. Rinse Reservoir: Remove the water reservoir and rinse it thoroughly with fresh water.
  3. Fill Reservoir: Fill the reservoir with fresh water up to the 'MAX' fill line.

  5. Power On: Plug the coffeemaker into a grounded outlet. The power button will illuminate.
  6. Cleansing Brew: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Lift and lower the handle without inserting a K-Cup pod. Select the largest brew size (e.g., 12 oz) and press the brew button. Discard the hot water. This primes the system.

5.1. Brewing a Hot Beverage

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled.
  2. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  3. Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup holder. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Select your desired brew size (4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz) from the illuminated buttons.
  5. The coffeemaker will begin brewing. Your beverage will be ready in under a minute.

5.2. Strong Brew Setting

For a bolder cup of coffee, use the Strong Brew setting.

  1. Follow steps 1-3 for brewing a hot beverage.
  2. Press the STRONG button before selecting your brew size. The button will illuminate.
  3. Select your desired brew size. The coffeemaker will brew a stronger, more intense cup by extending the brewing process.

5.4. Hot Water on Demand

Dispense hot water for instant soups, oatmeal, or other hot beverages.

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled.
  2. Place a mug or bowl on the drip tray.
  3. Do not insert a K-Cup pod.

6.3. Descaling
