This mouse features dual-mode connectivity (Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.4G USB), silent clicks, adjustable DPI, and an ergonomic design, compatible with multiple operating systems.

Note: The Forward and Backward buttons (5 and 6) are not available on Mac operating systems.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Mouse

Before first use, fully charge the mouse.

  • Connect the included Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the front of the mouse.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  • The LED indicator on the bottom of the mouse will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.
  • A full charge provides approximately two months of usage.

4.2 Connecting via 2.4GHz USB Receiver

  1. Locate the USB-A receiver stored in the compartment on the bottom of the mouse.
  2. Plug the USB-A receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the bottom.
  4. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "2.4G" position.
  5. The mouse should connect automatically.

4.3 Connecting via Bluetooth 5.2

System Requirements: Windows 8.0/10 or higher; Mac OS X 10.10 or higher; iPad OS 13 or higher; Android 5.0 or higher.

  1. Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the bottom.
  2. Slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "BT" position.
  3. The LED light on the bottom will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  4. On your device (laptop, iPad, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings.
  5. Search for new devices and select "Dolrso G301" (or similar name) from the list.
  6. Confirm pairing on your device. The LED light on the mouse will stop flashing once connected.

4.4 Switching Between Connected Devices (Dual Mode)

The Dolrso G301 mouse supports connecting to two devices simultaneously (one via 2.4G USB and one via Bluetooth). To switch between them:

  • Simply slide the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse between "2.4G" and "BT" to switch control between the two connected devices.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting DPI Sensitivity

The mouse offers 3 adjustable DPI levels (Dots Per Inch) to control cursor speed and sensitivity.

  • Press the DPI Button (button 4 in the product overview) located behind the scroll wheel to cycle through the DPI settings: 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI.
  • Each press will change the sensitivity, allowing you to find the setting that best suits your task.

5.2 Silent Clicking

The left and right buttons of the Dolrso G301 mouse are designed for silent operation, minimizing click noise.

  • This feature is ideal for quiet environments such as libraries, dormitories, or offices, ensuring you do not disturb others.

5.3 Forward and Backward Buttons

  • Use the Forward Button (button 5) and Backward Button (button 6) on the left side of the mouse for quick navigation in web browsers or file explorers.
  • Important: These side buttons are not functional on Mac operating systems.

5.4 Power Saving Mode

  • To conserve battery life, the mouse automatically enters standby mode after 10 minutes of inactivity.
  • To wake the mouse, simply click any button.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off the mouse to preserve battery life. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Charging: Charge the mouse regularly to maintain battery health. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Mouse Not Responding

  • Check Power: Ensure the mouse is turned on and has sufficient battery charge. Recharge if necessary.
  • Check Connection (2.4G): Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port and the mouse is set to 2.4G mode. Try a different USB port.
  • Check Connection (Bluetooth): Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is paired and set to BT mode. Try re-pairing the mouse.
  • Distance: Ensure the mouse is within the effective range (up to 10 meters) of your device.

7.2 Cursor Movement is Erratic or Slow

  • Surface: Use the mouse on a clean, non-reflective surface. A mouse pad is recommended.
  • DPI Setting: Adjust the DPI sensitivity using the DPI button (see section 5.1).
  • Interference: Move away from other wireless devices that might cause interference.

7.3 Side Buttons Not Working on Mac

  • This is expected behavior. The forward and backward buttons are not supported on Mac operating systems.
