4. Setup Guide

4.1. Initial Activation

Your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag comes with a CR2032 battery. If the battery is not pre-installed, please refer to Section 6.1 for installation instructions. The device is ready for pairing once the battery is active.

4.2. Pairing with Apple Find My App

1. Ensure your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) is running the latest version of iOS/iPadOS.
2. Open the Find My app on your iOS device.
3. Tap the Items tab at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap + (Add Item) and then select Add Other Item.
5. Bring your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag close to your iOS device. The device should be detected within 30 seconds.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to name your item and assign an emoji.
7. Confirm the pairing. Your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag is now linked to your Apple ID and visible in the Find My app.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Finding Nearby Items

When your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag is within Bluetooth range (up to 200 ft/60m), you can make it play a sound to help you locate it.

1. Open the Find My app.
2. Go to the Items tab.
3. Select your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag from the list.
4. Tap Play Sound. The tracker will emit a loud beep (80-100 dB) to guide you.
5. Tap Stop Sound once you've found your item.

5.2. Using Map Navigation

If your item is out of Bluetooth range, you can view its last known location on the Find My map.

1. Open the Find My app.
2. Go to the Items tab.
3. Select your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag.
4. Tap Directions to get navigation to the last recorded location of your item.

5.3. Left-Behind Notifications

To receive alerts when you leave your item behind:

1. Open the Find My app.
2. Go to the Items tab.
3. Select your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag.
4. Under 'Notifications', toggle on Notify When Left Behind.
5. You can also set 'New Location' exceptions where you don't want to be notified (e.g., your home).

5.4. Lost Mode

If your item is truly lost, you can enable Lost Mode to help others return it to you.

1. Open the Find My app.
2. Go to the Items tab.
3. Select your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag.
4. Under 'Lost Mode', tap Enable.
5. Follow the prompts to enter a phone number or email address where you can be contacted.
6. You can also choose to be notified when your item is found.

5.5. Voice Control with Siri

Once paired, you can ask Siri to help locate your KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag. For example, say: "Hey Siri, where's my [item name]?" (e.g., "Where's my wallet?").

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

The KINDEEP Air Tracker Tag uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, which typically lasts up to one year. The Find My app will notify you when the battery is low.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the tracker.

7.1. Tracker Not Connecting/Pairing

• Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device.
