Setup and Assembly
The M200 Evolution requires assembly. It is recommended that two adults assemble the machine. Ensure you have sufficient space and all parts are present before beginning.
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Verify all parts against the included parts list (not provided in this manual, refer to your product packaging).
- Note: Packages weighing over 30 kg are delivered to street level only.
Assembly Steps:
- Begin by assembling the main frame base, ensuring all bolts are finger-tight.
- Attach the vertical support beams and connect them to the base.
- Install the weight stack guide rods and carefully slide the weight plates onto them.
- Mount the various exercise stations (chest press, lat pulldown, leg extension) to the main frame.
- Route all cables through the pulleys as per the diagram in your assembly guide (refer to the separate assembly guide for detailed diagrams).
- Attach the seat, backrest, and arm curl pad. Adjust to your preferred height.
- Once all components are in place, tighten all bolts securely using the provided tools. Do not overtighten.
- Perform a functional check: slowly move all moving parts and test the cable system for smooth operation.
Operating Instructions
The M200 Evolution allows for a wide range of exercises. Always warm up before exercising and cool down afterward. Adjust the weight stack by inserting the selector pin into the desired weight plate.
Adjustments:
- Seat Height: Adjust the seat height to ensure proper alignment for chest press and lat pulldown exercises.
- Arm Curl Pad: Position the arm curl pad to comfortably support your arms during bicep curls.
- Leg Extension/Curl: Adjust the leg rollers to fit your leg length for optimal range of motion.
Common Exercises:
- Chest Press: Sit on the seat, grasp the handles, and push forward, extending your arms. Control the return motion.
- Lat Pulldown: Sit facing the machine, grasp the lat pulldown bar (Figure 2), and pull it down towards your upper chest. Slowly release.
- Seated Row: Attach a handle to the lower cable (Figure 3), sit with feet braced, and pull the handle towards your abdomen, squeezing your shoulder blades.
- Bicep Curl: Attach a handle or the straight bar (Figure 5) to the lower cable, stand or sit, and curl the weight upwards, contracting your biceps.
- Leg Extension: Sit on the leg station (Figure 4), place your shins behind the rollers, and extend your legs forward.
- Leg Curl: Lie face down on the leg station (if applicable, or use the same station in a different configuration), place your heels under the rollers, and curl your legs upwards.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your M200 Evolution machine.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the frame, upholstery, and handles with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. Use mild soap if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection (Weekly): Check all bolts, nuts, and pins for tightness. Retighten as needed. Inspect cables and pulleys for any signs of fraying, wear, or damage. Ensure smooth movement of all pulleys.
- Lubrication (Monthly): Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the weight stack guide rods to ensure smooth movement of the weight plates. Do not use oil-based lubricants.
- Upholstery Care: Keep upholstery clean and dry. Avoid sharp objects that could puncture or tear the material.
