5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance and hygiene. It is recommended to clean the humidifier every 2-3 weeks, or more frequently with heavy use or hard water.

5.1 Daily Maintenance

  • Unplug the humidifier.
  • Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  • Refill with fresh water.

5.2 Weekly Cleaning

  1. Unplug the humidifier and empty all water.
  2. Remove the water tank cover and the water filter.
  3. Cleaning the Water Tank: Rinse the water tank thoroughly with clean water. For mineral buildup, fill the tank with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water, let it soak for 30 minutes, then scrub with the provided cleaning brush. Rinse thoroughly until the vinegar smell is gone.
  4. Cleaning the Base: Gently wipe the inside of the base chamber with a soft cloth dampened with white vinegar. Use the cleaning brush to clean hard-to-reach corners and the nebulizer (mist outlet). Do not immerse the base in water.
  5. Cleaning the Water Filter: Rotate the filter counter-clockwise to disassemble. Rinse under running water. If heavily scaled, soak in a white vinegar solution for 15-20 minutes, then rinse.
  6. Dry all parts completely before reassembling.

5.3 Storage

When not in use for an extended period, clean the humidifier thoroughly, dry all parts, and store it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
