Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Meidase P300 WiFi Trail Camera:

What's Included:

  • 1 x Meidase P300 Trail Camera
  • 1 x Mounting Strap
  • 1 x USB Cable
  • 2 x Antennas

Note: Memory card and 8 AA batteries are not included and must be purchased separately. The camera supports up to 512GB storage.

Battery and SD Card Installation:

  1. Open the camera housing by unlatching the side clips.
  2. Insert 8 AA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Insert a compatible SD card (up to 512GB) into the SD card slot.
  4. Close the camera housing securely to maintain its IP66 waterproof rating.

Mounting the Camera:

Use the provided mounting strap to secure the camera to a tree or pole. The camera also supports standard tree mount or wall mount options.

Operating the Camera

The Meidase P300 offers intuitive operation through its built-in screen and the dedicated mobile app.

Basic Operation:

  1. Turn the camera ON using the power switch located inside the housing.
  2. Use the 2.4" color screen and navigation buttons to adjust settings such as photo/video mode, resolution, trigger delay, and PIR sensitivity.
  3. The camera features a 0.1s trigger speed and a 120° wide detection angle to capture wildlife effectively.
  4. Benefit from 100ft No Glow Night Vision for clear nighttime images without disturbing animals.

App Control (Meidase App):

Connect your camera to the Meidase app via Bluetooth and dual-antenna WiFi (no home router needed) for enhanced control and convenience:

SD Card Care:

  • Regularly check the SD card for available storage space.
  • Format the SD card periodically using the camera's menu settings to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
  • Always power off the camera before inserting or removing the SD card.
