Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to assemble the bed in the room where it will be used.

  1. Unpack and Identify: Unpack all components from both boxes. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface (like a rug or blanket) to prevent scratches. Identify each part using the provided components list and diagrams.
  2. Assemble Bottom Bunk: Begin by connecting the side rails and end rails for the bottom bunk to the appropriate bed posts. Hand-tighten all bolts initially.
  3. Install Bottom Slats: Insert the metal slats into the designated slots on the bottom bunk frame. Ensure the noise-reducing rubber stoppers are correctly placed.
  4. Assemble Middle Bunk: Attach the side rails and end rails for the middle bunk to the bed posts above the bottom bunk. Again, hand-tighten bolts.
  5. Install Middle Slats: Place the metal slats for the middle bunk into their respective slots, ensuring rubber stoppers are used.
  6. Assemble Top Bunk: Connect the side rails and end rails for the top bunk to the uppermost sections of the bed posts. Hand-tighten bolts.
  7. Install Top Slats: Secure the metal slats for the top bunk.
  8. Attach Guardrails: Install the guardrails on the upper and middle bunks, ensuring they are firmly secured to the frame.
  9. Attach Ladder: Securely attach the ladder to either the left or right side of the bunk bed, depending on your room layout. Ensure it is stable and does not wobble.
  10. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, systematically tighten all bolts and screws using the hex key. Do not overtighten.
  11. Install Anti-Tip Hardware: Secure the anti-tip hardware to the bed frame and the wall according to the separate instructions provided with the hardware.
