Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your portable propane heater:

  1. Prepare the Cylinder Base: Unfold the legs of the propane cylinder base to ensure stability.
  2. Attach Propane Tank: Carefully screw the propane tank (not included) into the gas valve connector on the heater head. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
  3. Secure Heater to Base: Place the assembled heater and propane tank onto the unfolded cylinder base, ensuring the tank is securely seated.
  4. Check for Leaks: Before lighting, apply a soapy water solution to all connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten connections or replace parts as necessary. Do not operate if a leak is detected.

Operating Instructions

  1. Open Gas Valve: Slowly turn the control knob on the gas valve counter-clockwise to allow propane to flow.
  2. Ignite Heater: Use the provided USB windproof lighter or a long match to ignite the burner. Position the lighter near the burner and activate it until the flame is established.
  3. Adjust Heat Output: Rotate the control knob to adjust the flame strength and heat output to your desired level. The heater provides up to 6200 BTUs.
  4. To Turn Off: Turn the control knob clockwise until the flame extinguishes completely. Ensure the gas supply is fully shut off.

The heater is designed for efficient warming of outdoor areas, capable of heating up to 200 sq ft. A 1LB propane tank can provide heat for up to 8 hours on low setting and 2 hours on high setting.

Safety Guidelines

  • Outdoor Use Only: This heater is designed exclusively for outdoor use. Never operate it indoors, in tents, or in enclosed spaces due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation even when used outdoors.
  • Clearance: Maintain a safe distance from flammable materials, including tents, sleeping bags, clothing, and dry vegetation.
  • Stable Surface: Always place the heater on a firm, level surface to prevent tipping. Use the provided cylinder stand for stability.
  • Supervision: Never leave an operating heater unattended. Keep children and pets away from the heater.
  • Hot Surfaces: The heater's surfaces become extremely hot during operation and remain hot for some time after being turned off. Avoid contact and allow it to cool completely before handling or storing.
  • Propane Tank Handling: Disconnect the propane tank when the heater is not in use or during transport. Store propane tanks in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Lighter Safety: The USB windproof lighter is for ignition only. Do not use it for other purposes that could cause injury or damage.

  • Cleaning: Allow the heater to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting
