5. Setup and Installation

The ANJIELO SMART 530+V7022E system is designed for multi-unit buildings, allowing individual monitors to operate independently without interference.

5.1 Outdoor Unit Installation

  1. Location Selection: Choose a suitable location near the main entrance, ensuring clear visibility of visitors and protection from direct harsh weather if possible, despite its waterproof rating.
  2. Mounting: The outdoor unit requires embedded installation. Cut an opening in the wall according to the unit's dimensions (265*128*48mm).
  3. Wiring: Connect the power supply (DC 15V, 0.5A) and communication cables to the outdoor unit. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
  4. Securing: Insert the outdoor unit into the prepared opening and secure it firmly using the provided screws.

5.2 Indoor Monitor Installation

  1. Location Selection: Choose a convenient indoor location, typically near the main door of each apartment, at eye level.
  2. Mounting: Attach the wall-mounting bracket to the wall using screws.
  3. Wiring: Connect the communication cables from the outdoor unit and the power adapter to the indoor monitor.
  4. Securing: Mount the indoor monitor onto the bracket, ensuring it is securely fastened.

5.3 Initial Power-Up and Testing

  1. After all units are installed and wired, connect the power adapters to the indoor monitors and the main power supply to the outdoor unit.
  2. Test the doorbell function by pressing a button on the outdoor unit. The corresponding indoor monitor should ring.
  3. Verify two-way audio communication and video display on the indoor monitor.
  4. Test the unlock function (if connected to an electronic lock).
  5. If RFID key fobs are included, follow the instructions for programming them to the outdoor unit for access control.

6. Operation

6.1 Answering a Call

  1. When a visitor presses the doorbell button on the outdoor unit, your indoor monitor will ring and display the visitor's image.
  2. Press the "Answer" button (typically a phone icon) on the indoor monitor to establish two-way audio communication.
  3. You can speak with the visitor and hear their response.

6.2 Monitoring

You can manually view the outdoor camera feed at any time:

  • Press the "Monitor" button (typically an eye icon) on the indoor monitor to view the live feed from the outdoor camera.
  • This allows you to check the area outside your door without a visitor pressing the doorbell.

6.3 Unlocking the Door

If your system is connected to an electronic door lock:

  • During a call or while monitoring, press the "Unlock" button (typically a key icon) on the indoor monitor to remotely open the door.
  • For RFID access, present a programmed key fob to the RFID reader on the outdoor unit to unlock the door.

6.4 Silent Mode

To avoid disturbance, especially during rest periods:

  • Press the "Mute" or "Silent Mode" button (typically a bell with a slash through it) on the indoor monitor.
  • The monitor will still display the visitor's image, but the ringtone will be silenced.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the outdoor unit and indoor monitor screens. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Lens Care: Keep the camera lens on the outdoor unit clean for optimal image quality.
  • Cable Inspection: Periodically check all wiring for signs of wear or damage. Ensure connections remain secure.
