The LANTOOCAM PR903CW Solar Trail Camera is designed for outdoor monitoring, capturing high-resolution photos and videos of wildlife or for security purposes. 3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
The camera is equipped with a built-in 5200mAh rechargeable battery and a top-mounted solar panel for continuous power. For extended operation, especially during prolonged cloudy periods or low light conditions, 8 AA batteries (not included) can be installed in the designated compartment. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

3.2. microSD Card Installation
Insert the included 32GB microSD card into the card slot. It is recommended to format the SD card when using the camera for the first time to ensure optimal performance and compatibility. The camera supports up to 256GB microSD cards.
3.3. Mounting the Camera
The camera can be mounted using the provided strap or the stand mount. The strap allows for attachment to trees or poles. The stand mount can be screwed into a surface, offering adjustable positioning. Ensure the camera is securely fastened and positioned to capture the desired area.

3.4. Powering On
Locate the OFF-TEST-ON switch. Slide it to the 'TEST' position to access the menu and configure settings. Once settings are complete, slide the switch to 'ON' to activate the camera for recording. The screen will close after 5 seconds, and the camera will begin recording.

4.1. Menu Navigation
In 'TEST' mode, use the MENU button to access settings. Use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to navigate through options, and the OK button to confirm selections. The MODE button switches between Photo, Video, and Photo+Video modes. The SHOT button can be used to manually capture a photo or start/stop video recording in 'TEST' mode.
4.2. App Connectivity (Wi-Fi)
The camera supports Wi-Fi connectivity for remote control and data management via a dedicated smartphone application. This allows for live viewing, accessing the gallery of captured media, checking camera status (battery, memory), and adjusting settings without physically interacting with the camera. Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone to connect.

6. Maintenance
- SD Card Formatting: Regularly format the microSD card to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. This can usually be done through the camera's menu settings.
- Battery Check: Monitor battery levels via the camera's display or the mobile app. Replace AA batteries when low, or ensure the solar panel receives adequate sunlight to charge the internal battery.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lens, PIR sensors, and solar panel with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear images and efficient solar charging.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera Not Powering On: Check if AA batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge. Ensure the internal rechargeable battery is charged via solar power or the provided power cable.
- No Images/Videos Captured: Verify that the SD card is inserted correctly and formatted. Check PIR sensitivity settings and ensure the camera is in 'ON' mode.
- Poor Image/Video Quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure the camera is positioned in an area with adequate lighting (for day captures) or within the night vision range (for night captures).
- App Connectivity Issues: Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your smartphone and the camera. Try restarting both the camera and the app.
