Operating Instructions

Using the Tilt-Out Bins

To access the trash bins, gently pull the top of the tilt-out door outwards. The door will pivot forward, allowing you to place or remove a trash can. The metal hinges are designed to hold the door open for convenient, hands-free disposal. Push the door back into place to conceal the bin.

Using the Hideaway Drawer

Pull the handle on the top drawer to open it. This drawer is suitable for storing trash bags, cleaning supplies, or other small household items. Push the drawer firmly to close it completely.

Moving the Cabinet

To move the cabinet, unlock the wheels by flipping the locking levers upwards on the front wheels. Carefully push or pull the cabinet to its desired location. Once positioned, push the locking levers downwards to secure the cabinet in place and prevent accidental movement.

Using the Built-in Power Outlet

The cabinet features a built-in power outlet on its top surface. Plug the cabinet's main power cord into a standard wall outlet. You can then use the integrated AC outlets and USB ports to power or charge electronic devices.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the cabinet surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools, as these can damage the engineered wood finish. Dry immediately with a clean cloth.

Care for Wheels and Hinges

Periodically check the wheels for any debris that might hinder their movement. Clean as necessary. Ensure the hinges on the tilt-out doors are free of obstruction and operate smoothly. If hinges become stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied.

General Care

Avoid placing excessively heavy items on the top surface or inside the drawer to prevent structural damage. Do not overload the tilt-out doors, as this can strain the hinges and affect their longevity.

Troubleshooting

  • Cabinet is wobbly after assembly: Ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened securely. Check that the cabinet is on a level surface.
  • Wheels do not lock effectively: Verify that the locking levers are fully engaged. Clean any debris from the wheel mechanisms. If issues persist, the wheels may need adjustment or replacement.
  • Tilt-out doors jam or do not close properly: Check for any obstructions in the hinge mechanism or along the door's path. Ensure the hinges are correctly aligned and tightened. Avoid overloading the door.
  • Drawer does not slide smoothly: Inspect the drawer slides for debris or misalignment. Ensure the drawer is not overloaded.
  • Power outlet not working: Check if the cabinet's main power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet. Test the wall outlet with another device.
