1. Product Overview

2. Setup and Installation

This enclosure features a tool-free design for quick and easy installation of your M.2 NVMe SSD.

2.1. SSD Compatibility

The enclosure supports M-Key and B+M-Key NVMe PCIe SSDs in sizes 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280. It does not support M.2 SATA NGFF SSDs or SSDs with heatsinks thicker than 3.5mm.

2.2. Installing the SSD

  1. Gently slide open the enclosure cover.
  2. Insert your M.2 NVMe SSD into the slot. The tool-free design secures the SSD without screws.

4.1. Cleaning

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Drive Not Recognized

  • New SSD Formatting: A brand-new SSD must be initialized and formatted before it can be recognized by the operating system. Use Disk Management on Windows or Disk Utility on macOS to perform this process.
  • File System Compatibility: Ensure your drive is formatted with a file system supported by your operating system. NTFS or exFAT is recommended for Windows, and APFS or HFS+ for macOS. Drives with unsupported file systems may not appear.
  • Connection Check: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the enclosure and your device. Try a different USB port or cable if issues persist.

5.2. Data Loss Prevention
