Your Garvee trash can is shipped in reinforced packaging with protective inserts to prevent damage during transit. Carefully remove all packaging materials.

Inserting a Trash Bag

The Garvee trash can features a "No-Inner-Bucket Design" for effortless bag replacement and maximum capacity. The integrated liner rim secures any standard trash bag snugly.

1. Lift the lid of the trash can.
2. Place your trash bag into the main compartment of the bin.
3. Fold the top edge of the trash bag over the integrated liner rim. Ensure the bag is securely held by the rim to prevent slipping or bunching.
4. Close the lid. The liner rim effectively hides the bag edges for a seamless appearance.

Operating Instructions

Opening the Lid

To open the lid, simply step on the industrial steel pedal located at the base of the trash can. The lid will open smoothly.

Keeping the Lid Open (Stay-Open Mode)

For extended use, such as during cooking preparation or when disposing of larger items, the lid can be locked in an open position.

1. Step on the pedal to open the lid.
2. Gently push the lid further back until it locks into the 95° stay-open position.
3. To close, gently push the lid forward from the 95° position, and it will soft-close automatically.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning the Exterior

The stainless steel exterior is fingerprint-resistant. To clean, simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the finish.
