- Assembly:
- Place the main unit on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface, away from water sources and flammable materials.
- Insert the clean, dry oil tank into the main unit.
- Place the heating element assembly onto the back of the main unit, ensuring it is securely seated. The heating element will only function correctly when properly installed.
- Attach the handle to the frying basket.
- Filling with Oil: Pour cooking oil (suitable for deep frying) into the oil tank. Ensure the oil level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' indicators marked inside the tank. Do not overfill or underfill.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Preheating the Oil
- Ensure the fryer is assembled correctly and filled with oil.
- Set the desired frying temperature using the temperature control dial (range: 90°C to 190°C). Refer to food packaging for recommended temperatures.
- The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the heating element is active.
- Allow the oil to preheat until the indicator light turns off, signifying that the set temperature has been reached. This may take several minutes depending on the oil volume and desired temperature.
5.2. Frying Food
- Carefully place the food into the frying basket. Do not overload the basket, as this can lower the oil temperature and result in soggy food. Fry in small batches if necessary.
- Slowly lower the frying basket into the hot oil. Be cautious of oil splatters.
- Place the lid on the fryer to minimize splattering and maintain temperature. The transparent window allows you to monitor the frying process.
- Set the timer for the recommended cooking duration.
- Once cooking is complete, carefully lift the basket out of the oil and hook it onto the edge of the oil tank to allow excess oil to drain.
- Remove the fried food from the basket and place it on paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.
- Repeat for additional batches if needed.
5.3. After Frying
- Turn the temperature dial to the 'OFF' position.
- Unplug the fryer from the wall outlet.
- Allow the oil and the fryer to cool completely before cleaning or storing. This can take several hours.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your fryer. Always ensure the fryer is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
- Oil Filtration: After the oil has cooled, use the integrated mesh filter to remove food particles. This helps keep the oil cleaner for longer use.
- Draining Oil: If you need to change the oil or store the fryer, carefully pour the cooled oil into a suitable container for disposal or reuse.
- Disassembly: The fryer is designed for easy cleaning and can be fully disassembled. Remove the heating element assembly, oil tank, frying basket, and lid.
- Washing Parts:
- The outer shell, inner pot (oil tank), cooking lid, frying basket, and filter are all dishwasher safe.
- Alternatively, wash these parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly or storage.
- Do NOT immerse the heating element assembly, control panel, or power cord in water or any other liquid. Wipe these parts with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the fryer in a cool, dry place. The power cord can be neatly stored in the integrated power cord storage box (refer to Figure 3.3).
