Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

  • HP 15.6" Laptop
  • 45 W Smart AC power adapter
  • Tichang USB Type-C to Ethernet Adapter with 3 x Super Speed USB 3.0 ports

2. Connecting the Power Adapter

Connect the 45 W Smart AC power adapter to the AC smart pin port on your laptop and then plug it into a power outlet. It is recommended to fully charge the laptop before first use.

3. Initial Power On and Windows Setup

Open the laptop lid and press the power button. The laptop will guide you through the initial Windows 11 Professional setup process. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure your language, region, network connection, and user account.

4. Connecting the Tichang Type-C HUB

The included Tichang USB Type-C HUB expands your connectivity options. Plug the Type-C connector of the HUB into the USB Type-C port on your laptop. This HUB provides three Super Speed USB 3.0 ports and one Ethernet adapter for wired network connectivity.

Operating Your Laptop

1. Display and Touchscreen

The 15.6-inch HD (1366 x 768) touch display allows for intuitive interaction with Windows 11. Use touch gestures for navigation, zooming, and selecting items. The micro-edge design maximizes your viewing area.
