2.4 Log Placement

The 9 ceramic fiber logs are hand-painted and numbered for proper placement. Refer to the diagram below or the specific log placement instructions included with the fireplace insert to ensure correct positioning. Incorrect log placement can affect flame appearance and unit performance.

2.5 Gas Connection

This unit operates on Natural Gas. A qualified gas technician must perform the gas line connection to the fireplace insert. Ensure all local codes and regulations are followed. The gas supply pressure must be within the specified limits for safe operation.

  • Install the provided AA batteries (4) into the remote receiver.

  • Once the pilot is stable, turn the control knob to the 'ON' position.

  • ON/OFF: Press the 'ON' button to turn the main burner on. Press the 'OFF' button to turn the main burner off (pilot light remains lit).
  • Temperature Control: Use the 'MODE' and 'SET' buttons to adjust the desired room temperature. The fireplace will automatically cycle the main burner on and off to maintain the set temperature.

3.3 Shutting Down the Fireplace

  • To turn off the main burner, press the 'OFF' button on the remote control or turn the control knob to the 'PILOT' position.

  • Log Condition: Periodically check the ceramic logs for any signs of deterioration or breakage. Replace damaged logs immediately to maintain proper flame pattern and efficiency.
  • Ventilation: Ensure that the area around the fireplace remains clear and unobstructed to allow for proper air circulation.

5. Troubleshooting
