Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around the air inlet and outlet for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements.
- Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted into the unit. The dehumidifier will not operate if the tank is not properly seated.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
- Emptying the Water Tank: When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully pull out the water tank, empty the collected water, and reinsert it firmly until it clicks into place.
- Cleaning the Air Filter: The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality. Turn off and unplug the unit. Remove the filter (refer to your unit's specific design for filter location, usually at the back or side). Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and let it air dry completely before reinserting. Do not operate the unit without the filter.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the filter is clean and dry. Coil the power cord neatly. Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place.
